Not too long ago there was a post on the Operation Write Home site about using a 6 x 6 paper pad to make a bunch of cards.
I wanted to see how many cards I could get out of a 6 x 6 paper pad. I used My Mind's Eye Breeze and ended using everything in the pad less a small bit that is shown in the last image. I ended up with 69 cards.. I bet I have enough scraps to make at least 2-4 more cards.
Measurements for the cards:
top left and top right use the same size pattern paper, the banner strip was punched at the end using a Stampin' UP! Photo Corners punch, you can use a square punch or just cut with scissors. The box for the saying was based on the saying itself. Card base is an A2 card, I used gray card stock for the base, then a black layer that is 5 3/8" x 4 1/8", then a white layer that is 5 1/4" x 4". The layer behind the banner strip is 2" the banner strip is 1 3/4". I added two brads on one and three on the others, as well as a punched out heart.
bottom left: card base is black A2 size. Yellow layer is 4" x 5 1/4". Black layer 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". White layer is 3 3/8" x 4 5/8". Black layer (under pattern piece) 4 3/8" x 2 7/8". Pattern piece 2 3/4" x 4". I stamped a saying on white and punched it out, then punched out a circle in black to layer it on. I added two brads and a punched out heart.
bottom middle and right (using colors on middle card to describe/cards the same except layer on banner, and red bottom layer on card on right): black card base A2 size. Yellow layer 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". (Red layer on right card is 3 5/8" x 4 7/8") Black layer 3" x 4 5/8". Pattern piece 2 7/8" x 4 1/4". "LOVE" strip is 1" x 3 1/2". Banner is 1" strip.. I punch the end and then cut it to 4". The card in the middle, I cut a yellow layer to the banner and it measures 3/4". It is punched at the end and then cut at 3 5/8". I added some brads and a punched out heart.
This is the empty paper pad and what's left is in that snack size ziploc bag.
My next post with be more cards I made from another paper pad.
thanks for looking ~
have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

Super efficient! I can't wait to make nice clean banners(finally got myself a square punch). Will definately be revisiting this post. Thanks so much for sharing!
Ok, you crazy amazing woman! I showed this post to my husband (and then had to explain most of it to him) and he was impressed! I am going to print out these measurements AND save it to my harddrive! You ARE the Queen!

Great job. I have saved your pictures and measurements on my hard drive. I am going to try for this with a 6x6 pad. The most I've got from one pad is 43 with some scraps left for maybe a couple more cards.
Wow! That is a lot of cards from one 6x6 pad. I generally only make around 25, but I like to use lots of different patterned papers together on one card. I love that MME paper, I've used it myself. Great set of cards!

AMAZING!
This is genius! I just picked up that pad on clearance and it's been looking at me. What a way to make the most of supplies. Thanks so much for sharing.
WOW!!! This is wonderful! Thank you a gazillion TONS for providing the measurements and instructions. This is something I have been wanting to do and just struggled with. Not now! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Thank you soooo much! I have several 6x6 paper pads from Stampin' UP that are retired and just sitting here. I am giong to challenge myself today to see how many I can get done!
Awesome job!
Thanks so much
Thank you so much for sharing this project, and the measurements. It sounds s dsunting tsk, but I’m going to give it a go. I find it interesting that you chose a pack that did not have individual images on a page. I’m guessing that would be harder to make the quota.
