I made all of these cards using pattern paper from one My Mind's Eye paper pad "Love Me"... they were super easy to make.
Measurements for cards:
base is cream and is an A2 size
Red layer 5 1/4" x 4"
Cream layer 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Red layer 4 1/8" x 3 1/8"
pattern paper 4" x 3"
Red heart punched out using Stampin' UP! heart punch
Cream piece punched using Modern Label Punch and
stamped with sentiment from MFT Flopsey Bunch of Hearts set
small rhinestone brad added to upper right corner of heart.
I put dimensionals on the back of the sentiment strip and heart, but not where brad went.. I attached heart and sentiment to card top layers and then pierced a hole to put the brad through.. that way it is not sticking up so much. I then attached all the layers on top of card base.
Below is the empty paper pad and the pieces I have left over.. these pieces are mostly all 2" x 6" .. there are some that are smaller, but plenty big enough to make a bunch more cards.
The cards fill up a basket.. I keep cards as I make them in a small basket like this, then more it to a larger bin when I am finished with a batch. To the left of the cards is the scraps inside what used to be the paper pad.
thanks for looking ~
have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

Nice to see you have been busy Pam. Missed seeing your posts.
Wow! You have totally inspired me to dig into all the paper pads I have and get some cards made up for OWH. Thanks. I liked the last post a lot too. Very inspiring!
These are fabulous Pam! So simple but very classy. Thanks for sharing. I have 6x6 that hasn't been used yet and it better watch out 'cause I'm coming to get it now! hehe
Thank you for both of the 6x6 posts with all the measurement details. I have purchased several 6x6 pads but haven't gotten cards made from them yet. Your posts will help me get started.
thanks for providing dimensions, etc. for your stash of cards! Really nice job, getting so many cards out of your 6x6 pad! TFS!
thanks for sharing your examples and the dimensions/recipe for your cards! Very nice cards~~~
I, too, still have lots of 6x6 pads I need to get using! (tend to hoard them!) TFS!
Great inspiration. I like the simplicity and the impact these cards make. Thanks so much for sharing. Like Deborah said, a great way to get a packet of cards ready to send to OWH.
I'm ready to get to work!

Love this idea. Curious what you do with THAT many cards? And what company does MME stand for and what size paper is it to start with? My son is in the Navy and I may want to try something like this around the holidays to send out cards to our troops. :) Thanks, Jane
Hi Jane.. those cards were donated to Operation Write Home at the time. That was 2013. I now do ate to Bring Smiles To Seniors. Thank you to your son for his service and to you for your support. Pam
