23 "JUST A NOTE" cards using Stampin' UP! Waterfront and Music From The Heart

Happy Sunday! I have some cards to share that use the Stampin' UP! stamp sets Waterfront and Music From The Heart (sentiment). I used Plaid Tidings DSP, some Ribbon and the card bases are Garden Green.

A couple weeks ago, I was laying in bed having a hard time falling asleep. I decided to watch some stamping videos. I have my YouTube on AutoPlay so it randomly plays the next video when one finishes.

The next video was by a lady named Gail ONeill. She was making some cards using Waterfront. I have the set, but hadn't used it yet. I really liked the one scene she made and thought it would be great to make in bulk. The next night I set out to stamp a bunch to put on some cards for Bring Smiles to Seniors.

I stamped 24, but the last one got a smear from ink on the block, so I tossed it.

Tonight, I assembled all 23 cards and really like the way they turned out. I hope the Seniors enjoy them.

#MOJOSKETCH547 A Happy Hello and I am Thankful for you cards

Happy Wednesday! I have some cards to share that use the current Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

On the "A Happy Hello" cards, I used some papers from Echo Park. The flowers/leaves are from SU All Things Fabulous, sentiment is from SU Tin of Cards.

On the "I am Thankful For You" card, I used SU DSP and SU Painted Harvest stamps.

FMS451 "Happiest of Holidays" Moose card

Happy Sunday! I have a card to share that uses the Freshly Made Sketches sketch #451.

I used these SU items on my card: Merry Moose stamp set, Moose punch, Plaid Tidings DSP, Garden Green card stock, Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder, Braided Linen Trim, Majestic Mountain Dies (trees), Raspberry Ripple ink.

I also used: Lawn Fawn banner dies, Versafine black ink, 3M Foam tape, Glue Dots, Art Glitter Glue, Shimmery card stock, Bazzill Red card stock.

#MOJOSKETCH544 "Happy Holidays" Poinsettia card

Happy Friday! I have a card to share that uses the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge layout.

I used some new Stampin' UP! stamps and dies. Poinsettia Petals stamps, Poinsettia dies and Poinsettia Place DSP. The gems are from Michael's, brown ink is Lawn Fawn Walnut, MFT Heavyweight Translucent Vellum, Shiny gold paper from Michael's as well.

September Sheetload of Cards "THINKING OF YOU" cards #showusyoursheetload

Happy Wednesday~! I have some cards to share that feature the September Sheetload of Cards Sketch. This month the sketch is for a Slimline card layout. It's been years since I made a card this size. It was fun to give these a whirl.

I used some Stampin' UP! products on these cards: Gathered Leaves dies, Gather Together stamp set, Rooted in Nature stamp set, Ribbon and the rust card stock is Dusty Durango I believe. The brown and white card stock are Neenah Canyon Brown and Solar Crest White.

*I used extra layers on my cards than the sketch shows. The measurements for them are:

the bottom brown layer on the sketch is labeled CS1A measuring 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" I have it layered on a card base.

the rust layer measures: 3 3/8" x 8 3/8"

the pattern layer measures: 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"

the upper brown layer on the sketch is labeled CS2A I cut it as the sketch calls for at 2 1/2" x 7 1/2"

the rust layer measures: 2 3/8" x 7 3/8"

the white and strip in the middle are cut as the sketch calls for.

I used some new Stampin' UP! pattern papers and stamps for my cards. Lots of stamping (thanks to my Misti) and die-cutting (thanks to my Big Shot) and foam tape for all the layers!
