Are you the type of crafter that makes cards and sends them out regularly?  I make many cards and try to send out a bunch, but often times I get to slacking and not send out as many cards as I would like.  For instance, "get well" cards are ones that I do not normally send, but have always wanted to. I have a few sentiments that I use on cards, but not so much in the image category.  When I seen this new Bed Rest Pure Innocence stamp (on sale in store) and die set (on sale in store) from My Favorite Things, I thought I'd get with it and have some "get well" cards to send out.

For my card today I thought I'd Paper Piece the bedding on this sweet image.  I stamped the main image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock (on sale in store) using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink. I colored the girl and bed on one of the images and her feet on the other using Copic Markers.

**NOTE: my card happens to be a square card that can fit into a regular envelope with no added extra postage. It's a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" square.

I stamped the pillow onto some Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes pattern paper (on sale in store) and the bedding onto some pattern paper from the My Favorite Things Graphic Grid paper pad. I cut out the images feet, bedding and pillow and glued them onto the main image.

I layered all the parts together using some Multi Medium Matte (on sale in store) which is one of my favorite liquid glues.

The sentiment was in one line, I cut the stamp apart into three parts and then stacked the words to get my sentiment. The stamps are easily lined back up to stamp in a single row in needed.

Here are most of the supplies I used on the card ~ links in supply list below.
