U.S. Army card for Soldier "CONGRATULATIONS on your promotion"
Last week my husband asked if I could make a card for him to give to one of his soldiers that was getting promoted, of course I would. I pulled out a paper pad that has military papers in it. It is a 6 x 6 paper pad that I purchased at Hobby Lobby.
I die cut the largest Star die in a set from MFT with the yellow "Army" paper. I then took some black card stock and traced the outside of the die on it and cut it out to have a layer behind the pattern paper star.
I stamped a sentiment from a Stampin' UP! stamp set, die cut it with a Lawn Fawn Sentiment Banner die and then die cut it again to make the banner the size I needed.
My husband said that the soldier loved his card.
thanks for looking ~

LOVE this card! It's simple but so striking...and I'm sure the recipient was touched.
This is great, I bet he did love it!
I can see why the soldier loved his card, it is fabulous Pam! I love the military papers you used and I love that large star. Well done my friend! Hugs, Brenda
