Hello!   My card today uses all kinds of fun goodies from Lawn Fawn (Party Balloons, Scripty Wishes, Fancy Scalloped Circles, Scripty Sayings), My Favorite Things (Circle Stax) and Neat & Tangled (Peppermint Sequins).      The card was close to having no stamping on it, but I decided to add a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings set.

My plan was to color up some fun images to use on a card tonight, but I have been battling a horrible migraine since early this morning, medicines haven't helped, so as soon as I post this I am going to take a strong pain med and go to bed, hoping to wake up with a clear head.

Do you have lots of dies that you "just had to have", but then never used? that is what has happened to most all of the Lawn Fawn scripty words and these fun balloons. So tonight I'd thought I'd pull them out and use them on a card.  This card was ever changing as it went about....   I die cut four white layers of the Lawn Fawn Wishes die, glued them all together using some Multi Medium Matte ~ love that stuff ~! and then decided to add another layer done in the dark blue.

Using my Pick Me Up tool and Multi Medium Matte, made quick work of getting them dies glued together ~ I added the dark blue layer after these photos were taken.

I used this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge: MFTWSC321

These are most of the supplies I used on the card:

SUPPLIES:

card stock:  Neenah Solar White. Dark Blue
pattern paper: Lawn Fawn
stamps:  Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings
ink: Versafine Black
accessories: Scor-Buddy, Lawn Fawn Party Balloons, Lawn Fawn Scripty Wishes, Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Circle Stackables, My Favorite Things Circle Stax, Multi Medium Matte, Neat & Tangled Peppermint Sequins, Foam Tape, Pick Me Up Tool and Big Shot Die Cut Machine

When I seen this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, I immediately thought of using one of the small Lawn Fawn sets.  I have LOTS of them.. do you as well??  They are such fun images that take no time at all to color.   Today I used the Lawn Fawn Love You Tons stamp set and coordinating dies.

When I die cut my square, it wasn't as wide as I wanted it to be, since the layout as a strip going up and down and it covers part of the square, I cut the yellow piece from being a 3" x 3" piece to be 3" x 3 1/8" and layered it onto a 3 1/4" x 3 1/8" square.

After layering the strip on top of the square ~ no one will even know that it's cut apart below.

I am by far not any kind of expert when it comes to coloring with Copic Markers. I mostly do it by what I call "luck!"  haha..  I did want to share how easy it is to color the elephants I used on my card.   I did both elephants nearly the same, except on the boy one I eliminated the T2 and added T6 as the darkest color.

I stamped all the images using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink ~ LOVE THIS STUFF!!! it works aaaaamazing when coloring in images with Copic Markers.

First I colored in some areas with the T4 marker:

I then colored over it with the T5 marker:

I spread out the color with the T4 marker:

Then colored over it with the T2 marker ~ this actually removes some of the color:

I then go back over the elephant with the T4 marker:

Then add some shadows back in with the T5 marker:

Then colored all over with the T4 again. I added some blush to her cheek with the R20 marker:

Hello, Hello!!  I have two cards to share that use one sketch, two different ways.

I used the My Favorite Things You Have My Heart stamps and dies. The girl and puppy dog were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in using Copic Markers.

I started by stamping the dog paws all over the two Kraft panels using the three paw stamps that are in the set. I used Versafine Black Ink.

Here are my two panels after I stamped the paws all over them.  One I did them randomly and the other in rows.

Here's how I assembled the cards...  I put foam on the back of the blue layered pieces:

I put adhesive on the back of the circle pieces and foam tape to the right side. When I am putting foam tape on the backside of a piece that isn't going to cover the whole thing, I lay the piece upside down so I can see where/how much I will need.

For the sentiment banners ~ I put foam tape in the one side and regular adhesive to the rest.

I took pictures of the heart and clouds, but my phone didn't save them.. I put foam tape to the one corner of the cloud that is hanging off the blue layer and some on the back of the heart.

Here are my two cards ~ this one is Portrait layout:

and this one Landscape:

Using this week's MFTWSC319 Sketch, I used the sketch as shown and then turned it on it's side. I usually print off a sketch and then turn it around to see which way I like it best and then proceed with making a card.

Here is this week's MFTWSC319 Sketch Challenge:
Here are the measurements I used for the sketch:

SUPPLIES:

card stock:  Neenah Solar White, Bazzill Licorice Twist, Bazzill Classic Kraft, Blue
stamps:  My Favorite Things You Have My Heart
ink: Memento Black, Versafine Black, Lawn Fawn Lobster, Copic Markers
accessories: Scor-Buddy, Foam Tape, MFT Circle Stax, MFT Stitched Sentiment Strips

Set of "THANK YOU" cards for basket "Explorer" themed

I was recently asked if I'd like to donate some cards that will go in a basket that our Brigade is donating for a "Night to Remember" event celebrating 100 years of JBLM.  The theme of the basket is "Explorer" since JBLM (the Lewis part) is named after Meriwether Lewis of Lewis and Clark.

I dug out this large Northwoods Rubber Stamps stamp. I stamped it six times using some Hero Arts Shadow Ink, then layered it onto some brown card stock. I picked out two of each colored pattern papers for the backgrounds that are layered onto a brown card base, lined with a vanilla piece that is the same as the stamped piece.  The "thank you" is from a Hero Arts stamp set stamped using the same brown ink, then cut out and layered onto some brown card stock.

I have a clear plastic box to put them in, along with envelopes. I'll tie some ribbon around them and call it a day!

U.S. Army card for Soldier "CONGRATULATIONS on your promotion"

Last week my husband asked if I could make a card for him to give to one of his soldiers that was getting promoted, of course I would.   I pulled out a paper pad that has military papers in it. It is a 6 x 6 paper pad that I purchased at Hobby Lobby.

I die cut the largest Star die in a set from MFT with the yellow "Army" paper. I then took some black card stock and traced the outside of the die on it and cut it out to have a layer behind the pattern paper star.

I stamped a sentiment from a Stampin' UP! stamp set, die cut it with a Lawn Fawn Sentiment Banner die and then die cut it again to make the banner the size I needed.

My husband said that the soldier loved his card.

Hello~~  Today I am sharing a card using a sweet mailman that I created from the My Favorite Things You've Got Mail stamp set.  Note:  This stamp set is on sale right now!!!  Snatch it up before it's gone.

The image in the stamp set is a girl. To make it a boy mail carrier, I masked off her pigtails and then took a black marker to make her skirt into a pair of shorts.  I stamped the image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock (this is also on sale!!) with Memento Black Ink (ohhhh my gosh.. this is also on sale!!) and colored it up using Copic Markers.

I used this week's MFTWSC318 for the layout. After putting everything on the card, the area around the top looked a little plain, so I added a sun and some clouds.  I love the way this turned out.

I used the coordinating die-namics to die cut the image.. note: this die is out of stock at the moment, but should be restocked.  It's been on sale.. sweet!  love a sale!     This is what the image looked like when I die cut it..  I just trimmed around his hair where the girl would have pigtails.. sooo easy to do.   You can easily cut this image out with scissors as well. It's a very easy trim.

I used this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge layout for my card:  MFTWSC318
