 Today is Day 22 of the #thedailymarker30day I am so excited to challenge myself to get back to coloring each day this next 30 days ~ I have lots of new goodies to color, so I'm ready for the challenge.

Earlier today I had my eyes dilated and had to wait until later in the day to color.  Since I had the Lawn Fawn Lovable Legends stamp set already laying on my desk, I decided to make another card using another image from this fun stamp set.

I stamped the images onto some Neenah Solar White card stock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink. I colored the images with Copic Markers.

Hello All ~ I recently received an order of a bunch of My Favorite Things goodness. I had received a couple of gift cards for my birthday. They were burning a hole in my email.. so I had to use them up.

On my card I used some of the images that are in the new MFT Lions and Tigers stamp set. I used the stamps and dies.  The banner is from the Blueprints 27 die set.   I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch ~ sketch and link to challenge posted below. The orange grid paper is from the awesome new MFT Graphic Grid paper pad.

The images were stamped on Neenah Solar White card stock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and they were colored up with Copic Markers.   The strip with the Tiger paw prints were stamped with Versafine Black ink and a stamp from an Hero Arts stamp set.

On my card today I used a fun image from the My Favorite Things Recipe For Happiness stamp set. *note: TupeloDesignsLLC doesn't currently carry this stamp set, but with a layout such as the one I used (sketch and link to sketch below) you can use almost any image that is about the same size, same with the sentiment.

For the brick wall I used a Tim Holtz Brick stencil and sponged on some Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink. The inks are so creamy and go on so nicely. I used a Ranger Mini Ink Blending tool to apply the ink.

On my card today I pulled out a stamp set that I have had since last year, but it has never been used.. yikes!  The stamp is from Lawn Fawn and is called Chirpy Chirp Chirp ~ such adorable images. I used the stamps and the coordinating dies.

Ahhhh..  what fun it is to color up such a sweet image. This sweet girl image is from the My Favorite Things (MFT) stamp set Happy Together. I used the stamps and coordinating die.  I used this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge  for the layout ~ sketch with link provided below.

I stamped the image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink. I colored the image up with Copic Markers.  Below are the colors I used.

I have an order of some MFT goodness coming my way that includes some scallop borders ~ since it's not arrived yet, I improvised and took a Lawn Fawn scallop rectangle and made a scallop border.  Below I show how I put the paper in the die to cut it out.   If you don't have a specific die, look through what you do have and see if you can adapt it to work.

After cutting the green piece of card stock. I put a rectangle die on the pattern piece, slid the cut scallop piece in to make sure I had it centered.

The only marker laying on my desk was a light pink Memento marker, so I used it to draw the outside of the rectangle in the picture above..  the lines are hard to see in the picture, but I could see them well enough to use my paper trimmer to cut away the corners and have a piece to layer on my scallop piece.  I hope all that makes sense.

Today has been another busy day. We didn't get home from running errands until after 6, fixed dinner, video chatted with my parents and then my granddaughter fell asleep on my shoulder/chest.  I didn't want to move her because she was enjoying some good sleep ops, so I let her be..  she slept from around 8 to a little after 10...  so I got a late start.

I have had an idea in my head a couple days after after purchasing some new dies, to do a splatter card using some new Distress Oxide Inks.. LOVE THEM!!!  I used three colors on my card:  Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber and Faded Jeans.

I smooshed the ink pads onto my craft mat, spritzed water on each of them, dipped a paint brush into each and flicked the ink onto the watercolor paper by tapping it on my hand..  little did I know I was flicking it all over everything on my desk. I had to stop in the middle of doing it to clean things up.
