I love Cardinal's ~ I remember always being so excited when they would come to our bird feeder or in the trees around our house.  When I seen the Hero Arts Color Layering Cardinal stamp set and die set I knew I had to get it. I am once again excited .. to ink it up!

I used a stamping tool to position the layering stamps.   *note: I was off a little on one of the layers so I had a line above the beak of the bird. I used the end of my Pick up Stick to dab color on it and fill it in.

layer 1:

layer 2:

layer 3:

Add black around face and beak and it's done. It's just that easy!

After stamping the cardinal, tree branches and greenery, I die cut all the pieces.  *I ended up not using the birds legs/feet

The dies cut the images out so nicely leaving a small border around each.  I stamped and die cut more images from the set to add to the sentiment piece.

Here's the cardinal, tree branches and greenery on the card.   After the card was assembled, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dark Walnut.

Here are most of the supplies that I used on my card:

I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge:  MOJO473

Here are the measurements I used for the sketch:

Oh my goodness ~ the stamps in the My Favorite Things Sweet Safari stamp set are just too stinkin' cute!

I inked up the Giraffe with Memento Black ink and stamped it onto some Neenah White Card stock. I colored it up using some Copic Markers.  After coloring I die cut it out using the coordinating Sweet Safari dies ~ tooo cute!!!

These are the supplies I used on my card, plus card stock and foam tape.

This is how I did the banner to fit my sentiment:

First I die cut using the Lawn Fawn banner die keeping the flag end to the right side of the sentiment.

I then put the piece I die cut back in the banner where the flag ends are now on the left side. I used Post-It note tape to keep it in place and die cut it again.

This is what I ended up with.

For my Oval frame, I used some dies from the Gina Marie Stitched Ovals die set. I laid two oval dies on the pattern paper and cut them out. I kept the oval ring that was leftover from die cutting the two ovals. Hopefully I'll be able to use it on another project.

I used this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #305
**WINNERs!!

The winners of the Shark stamps are:  Karen Ladd and Vicky B.  I will email you both. Congrats to you both and thank you to all who commented and entered in the drawing.

SUPPLIES:

card stock:  Neenah White. Brown
pattern paper: from stash
ink: Memento Black Ink, Versafine Black, Copic Markers: E13, E15, E25, E27

I made a set of five cards for this post.. however I had three fatalities when while setting them up for pictures, they fell over and the Nuvo drops weren't dry yet and they smeared ~ note to self: let them dry next time!

I used a fun new stamp set from Neat and Tangled called So Very Blessed. The pattern papers are from an American Crafts Shimelle Shinestar paper pad ~ awesome papers.  The dots are made using a really neat product called Nuvo Crystal Drops by Tonic Studios. I used the Ebony Black color. It is so easy to use.

Using a Stamping Tool makes stamping the large sentiments so easy. I stamped them a couple of times so the ink showed up nice and dark.

These are the supplies I used for my cards plus foam tape:

I don't normally make Halloween cards, but I recently purchased this adorable Lawn Fawn Happy Howloween stamp and die set, so I couldn't resist making a card.

The tree frame is also Lawn Fawn and is Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait. I also added the Lawn Fawn Picket fence to the scene.

I stamped the images with Black Memento Ink and colored them using Copic Markers. On the pumpkin after die cutting the two pieces, I took a Memento black pen and colored in the lines to extend the top of the pumpkin and then colored in the white area on the bottom of the die cut with orange to make it all orange.

Today I have a card and a tag that I made using the Lawn Fawn Narwhal and Friends die set.  The die set is so much fun.  I wasn't sure what I'd do with it, but once I seen it I knew I had to have it.. tonight I decided to add it to a card. I am super happy that I decided to add it to my Lawn Fawn collection.

I used pattern papers from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid paper pad.  The sentiment is from an older Lawn Fawn stamp set called Hello Sunshine.  Such fun projects.

Oh my goodnes~!  This Narwhal and Friends die set is TOOOOOOO much fun!!! it made me giggle looking all all the fun pieces that were cut from the dies.  This is a fun die set to have if you have children..  I can imagine how much fun they would have making things with these fun shapes.

These are most of the supplies I used for my card <> plus card stock.

Lots of foam tape on the backside of the Narwhal and the water sprouts.  NOTE:  I cut a piece of black card stock to attach to the back of the Narwhal die cut for the mouth and eyes.
