VLDEC2015 "LAND OF THE FREE Because of the BRAVE" ~ "GOD BLESS AMERICA" Verve stamps Patriotic card

I haven't made a Patriotic card in a while which is too long of a while for me.  Red, White and Blue is my favorite color combination.  I unfortunately didn't keep any of my Patriotic paper pads with me, I shipped them all. I did however have a paper pad from Authentique called "Abroad" and there are Red, White and Blue on the pages of the pad.     Not sure if it shows up in the picture or not, but I sponged the edges of the banner, the circle and the dotted strip under the star.

The VivalaVerve Sketches is on Holiday Vacation ~ there is a sketch on the post and that is what I used for my card.   I added a strip because my star looked lonely in the corner without it.
