The theme for the OWH Midweek Throwdown Challenge is "Miss You" cards. I have been working on this card for a few days.. the shutters didn't fit, had to cut them down, cutting those flowers took some time.. I would work on it and set it aside and then come back to it. Tonight I wanted to finish it up so I can move on to other cards.
The Occupational Therapist I seen this past week fitted me for a splint to wear on my arm at night and politely told me to lay off making cards for a month.. a month? I looked at her and asked if she was kidding.. she said no, she wasn't.. I then told her that I wouldn't spend as much time with it.. but I couldn't just quit making cards, that my friends just ain't gonna take place.
I have been wearing my splint every night, taking my meds and doing the exercises she told me to do. This is all in an effort to alleviate the numbness in my ring and pinkie finger on my right hand.. also that bottom area of the palm of my hand. It's been numb since January. They call it Ulnar Nerve Entrapment.. I call it annoying.
Anyways... here is my card.
After I finished up that card, I was messing around with a sticker and put this card together really quick. It's for Mother's Day.
thanks for looking ~
have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

Both cards are terrific!
Hi Pam, I like both of your cards. That window card looks really intricate. I hope your hand starts to feel better soon. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
beautiful beautiful - what was that PT person thinking - give up card making - oh my.

Love both of the cards. I especially like the window. How on earth did you make the shutters? When you have a hobby that you truly love, it's hard to give it up. Just don't overdo it!
