26 of these babies all done.. Those Who Bring Sunshine...

Wowzers!!!    I just finished up the last of the yellow card stock that I had in this shade.. I have other shades of yellow and tomorrow.. I might make some more.. or move on to something else.  I am trying to get a box filled to send to Afghanistan and I am probably at least half if not three fourths there.

My fingers on my left hand, especially my thumb and pointer finger, are a pretty yellowish orange color.. haha.

I had a blast making these today.

thanks for looking ~

have a great airborne day!

Those who bring sunshine....

I recently purchased the stamp set that this stamp is in. It's from Technique Tuesday and is called Bring On The Sun by Ali Edwards. I have wanted it forever and finally bought it from my favorite online store AMAZON

I used some Basic Grey papers, the sun is an MFT Die-namics die.

I made a few more of the cards..  they were fun to make.. and oh so easy.

Starburst cards

I seen a video (video/link below) earlier today showing an easy way to make Starburst cards... I have finished one and thought I would make some more.

We have DirectTV and via DirectTV I can watch YouTube videos .. LOVE IT!!  I lay in bed and watch craft videos late at night or early in the morning.  Yesterday morning I seen this video, but originally posted this via my phone and didn't have the link to the video.      I hopped on my laptop this morning so that I could share it with you.   It's a video by Dawn Olchefske.

Here is a link to her website.. she has lots of other videos.

**The sentiments used on these cards:
Thinking of You is from a Hero Arts set called Sending Smiles

Sending A Big Thank You is from a Papertrey Ink set.

Assorted cards I made today

I am still working on the big stack of metallic paper that I already have layered onto a black layer.

I made these super easy cards today.

The sentiments on the cards are:

Thank You Very Much:  Woodware Craft Collection "Double Thanks"
The World Would Be Boring Without You:   Penny Black "Tweet Tweet"
Thinking of you from miles away:   MFT "You Move Me"

Blessings~ Pam

Let Us Be Grateful..... cards

I made the card with all the coloring last night before bed and this morning while chatting on the phone, I did the one below, with the spotlighting coloring.

I used a Papertrey Ink set a friend let me borrow (thanks Beverly).

I was asked what Copic markers I used and thought I'd add that info. I didn't write
them down, but do think that these are the ones I used:

flowers:  BV000, BV00, BV02, BV04 BV13

leaves:  G03, G05, G09

around image:  BG000

Thanks So Much embossed cards

These went together really quickly.  I already had the metallic papers layered on the black cardstock.. so I ran each one through the BigKick in an embossing folder.. attached the sentiment panels with Dimensionals (already had them stamped and put together as well).. attached them to card bases and they were done... super quick and easy.. and they are really pretty in person.

Lot of 10 "Sending BIG Hugs" cards

I just finished up these cards.. in the box they go to be sent to Afghanistan.

Sending BIG Hugs.. Pooh & Tigger card

A while back I bought some Disney embossing folders and dies at AC Moore.  I opened up the Pooh one and my daughter asked if there was a Tigger one, so I got this folder out to play with.

I made this card for a soldier to send home to a loved one.

Sentiment is from an MFT set, pattern paper is Stampin' UP!.

Have A Wonderful Day... lot of 15 cards

I had a lot of fun making these today.  I been away from card making for a little bit because I took the kids on a trip and then decided to cut nearly all of my 12 x 12 paper down to 6 x 6 size, and finally cleaned my stamp room.

I have a stack of the metallic papers that are already mounted on a black layer, sitting on my desk that is 4" tall.. just waiting to be used.

*I was posting this on on my phone, so typing it isn't the easiest.. I am on the desktop now and wanted to share the measurements.

MEASUREMENTS:

card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"  scored at 4 1/4" and folded in half. I used white for the base

black layer:   5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
mettalic layer:   5 1/4" x 4"

buttefly layer:
black layer: 4 1/8" x 3 1/8"
white layer:  4" x 3"

sentiment layer:
black layer:  1 1/8" x 3 7/8"
white layer:  1" x 3 3/4"
