My daughter Taylor loves going to Build-a-Bear. Her birthday was last Friday and I went and got her the new frog ~ perfect because she loves the color green. Along with a bunch of outfits/shoes/accessories.. the lady let me use three of the $5. off coupons. I still have 12 left from when we went to Myrtle Beach and picked them up at the golf shoe store we stopped in. The coupons are $5 off a purchase of $25 or more. Another Kmart Double Coupon Deal

I went back to Kmart this afternoon after the kids got home. I had went through
my coupon stash and found more of the $1.00 Scotts toilet tissue. They are on sale for $5.50 a 12 pack and after the coupon is doubled they are only $3.50.. great deal. I also got some packs of Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Cloth Tape.. FREE! and some Go Diego BandAids for only .19 cents a box.. and the Rimmell nail polish and lipstick was a total of .03 cents for all.. the cosmetics are 40% off this week and I found $1.00 off coupons there at the display. When they rang up they were $1.97 (nail polish) and the lipstick was $2.03.. the coupons doubled took $2.00 off each ($1.97 off nail polish).. Steve said to take advantage of the tissue deal, so I am going back tomorrow.

Double Coupons up to $2.00 at Kmart ~ spent only $26.61

I usually am the first to look through the Sunday paper and check out all the ads to see if anything is a good deal.. using coupons of course to bring the price down even more. I scoured through the ads yesterday and didn't see a lot.. but then last night I sat down with the paper again because I hadn't read a couple of sections and since the ads were on top, I thought I would browse through them again. I don't normally ever look at the KMart ad, the few times I have been in the local store, it's always a mess, so I just don't go. However something caught my eye on the front page.. "Double Coupons up to $2.00" ~ wowzers!! I was quite excited and by looking at what they had on sale, I knew I'd be getting some things for FREE or next to nothing.



This is what all I got today.. and only spent $26.61 and that included tax.

Item and cost after coupons:

20 Tubes of Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste all FREE!!
8 packs of Dentek tooth floss picks .99 cents each bag
6 bottles of Gillette shampoo .50 cents each bottle
2-2pks of Oral B toothbrushes .99 cents each pack
3 rolls of Bounty paper towels .49 cents each roll
1 Scott Extra Soft 12 pk toilet tissue $3.50 for pkg
3 large bottles of Downy Fabric Softener $1.00 per bottle

The Downy was actually supposed to be more than the $3.00 each
that was the price before the coupon was taken off. Someone forgot
to take down the sign for the sale last week. I had the $1.00 off
coupons that came in the P&G coupon book that was sent to me a
couple of weeks ago.


I am going to look back through my coupon binder and see if I have
some more coupons that might be worth taking another trip over to the
store to redeem.

Assorted Cards... from weeks ago!

These three cards are some that I made before I had my surgery back on the 16th of January. The cupcake card was one that I seen in the new Hero Arts catalog.. it was so cute I just had to duplicate it. I used an inkadinkado set on it, I wrote the words.. the gumdrop is from the new Stampin' UP! hostess set. The hearts card is made using a white square card that is embossed with "happy holidays" on the front of it. I got a 10 pack of cards with envelopes at Michael's for only .33 cents each pack. I just layered cardsdtock inside and out to cover up the embossed part. The butterfly card uses a Stampin' UP! stamp set, Pretty Amazing I think is the name of it. I don't have it right here in front of me to remember the name, but I think that's it.
