Operation Write Home Birthday Bash 2013 with StampersBest BlogSkip

Hi and welcome to the Operation Write Home     Birthday Bash with StampersBest Blog Skip ~ Thanks for stopping by!

Today I have three cards using some of the awesome StampersBest OWH Fundraiser stamps.

Card #1:

My first card is one using Star Spangled Banner,  which by the way is one of my favorite songs.  I have it on my MP3/Phone by several different artists.. my favorite being Martina McBride... ahh, I love to hear her sing it.

I used a row of stars die from Lifestyle Crafts that comes with two sizes of stars.. on the blue layer I used the piece that was left after cutting out the stars and then used the red stars that were from the smaller size die.  My son said that this one was his favorite.

Card #2

This next card uses the True Soldier stamp... such an awesome saying. I am going to send this card to the spouse of a "true soldier" that recently lost his life.. forging forward.. as the saying says, not because he hated what was in front of him.. but because he loved what was behind him.   RIP SFC Young.

Trying to type this without breaking down and crying...  please know that our heroes so appreciate cards and letters from home, knowing that we support them wholeheartedly .. with everything we have.   God bless each and every one of those that put their life on the line each day.

Card #3:

This last card uses all but one of the stamps in one of my favorite StampersBest stamps that is called OWH My Hero.   I mounted all the stamps on a big block and stamped it onto a piece of card stock. I left the space for the stars (which were made using the LifeStyle Crafts star dies that I used on the first card).
