There's a Midweek Throwdown Challenge on the Operation Write Home website: "White on White with a Pop of Color"... I have never ever made a card base of white.. but thought what the heck!
The sentiment is from a Stampin' UP! stamp set "Well Scripted".. I stamped it, punched it out with a heart punch, then layered it on a scalloped heart punch.
White Cardstock for the base, Real Red layer and then white cardstockt hat I embossed with a new Cuttlebug embossing folder (they were in a 5 pack)that are from a local craft store (HL), I got them yesterday and thought I'd put them to use.

**EDITED TO ADD: After lunch, I made four more cards.. this time doing away with the white card base. MORE VALENTINE'S DAY CARDS
love this embossing folder - I'll have to keep an eye out for it. and the stamped sentiment
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice embossing folder and makes the white background more meaningful. Good choices.
