Hello!   My card today uses all kinds of fun goodies from Lawn Fawn (Party Balloons, Scripty Wishes, Fancy Scalloped Circles, Scripty Sayings), My Favorite Things (Circle Stax) and Neat & Tangled (Peppermint Sequins).      The card was close to having no stamping on it, but I decided to add a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings set.

My plan was to color up some fun images to use on a card tonight, but I have been battling a horrible migraine since early this morning, medicines haven't helped, so as soon as I post this I am going to take a strong pain med and go to bed, hoping to wake up with a clear head.

Do you have lots of dies that you "just had to have", but then never used? that is what has happened to most all of the Lawn Fawn scripty words and these fun balloons. So tonight I'd thought I'd pull them out and use them on a card.  This card was ever changing as it went about....   I die cut four white layers of the Lawn Fawn Wishes die, glued them all together using some Multi Medium Matte ~ love that stuff ~! and then decided to add another layer done in the dark blue.

Using my Pick Me Up tool and Multi Medium Matte, made quick work of getting them dies glued together ~ I added the dark blue layer after these photos were taken.

I used this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge: MFTWSC321

These are most of the supplies I used on the card:

SUPPLIES:

card stock:  Neenah Solar White. Dark Blue
pattern paper: Lawn Fawn
stamps:  Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings
ink: Versafine Black
accessories: Scor-Buddy, Lawn Fawn Party Balloons, Lawn Fawn Scripty Wishes, Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Circle Stackables, My Favorite Things Circle Stax, Multi Medium Matte, Neat & Tangled Peppermint Sequins, Foam Tape, Pick Me Up Tool and Big Shot Die Cut Machine

thanks for looking ~

~ Pam

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your migraine, and hope you wake up tomorrow feeling better. This is such a festive and sweet card and I love the paper pieced balloons! I think I need one of those pick-me-up tools to help with small die cut pieces because my tweezer are just not doing the job.

I SO hope you are feeling better today? I feel for you! I woke up with a terrible headache yesterday too and I suffered with it all day as well. Thank goodness it is gone this morning!

  4. What a fun and festive card Pam! Loving the papers used, so bright and cheerful. Oh yes, I have dies that I had to have and haven't even used them yet! lol I'm slowly making my way through my NBUS (never been used schtuff), but it will take me a while! Love your take on this sketch too. Sorry you have a migraine, I know how awful they are as I used to get them as well. Mine would last for a week or longer, not fun. Praying that it leaves you fast!!! Hugs, Brenda
