Seattle Seahawks Handmade Cards for a Special Person

I have been wanting to share some cards that I made and sent to a man named Donald who has cancer and is awaiting a bone marrow transplant.  His niece posted on a FB group I am in asking if anyone wanted to send a card to him. I messaged her to ask if he had a favorite sports team, hobbies, likes, etc..  she said he's a big Seattle Seahawks fan. I should note that we are Green Bay Packer fans and it was kinda rough buying Seahawk papers at the craft store.. haha.. just kidding...  anyways ~ I cut most everything out with my Silhouette Cameo with things I found on the internet.  The Football Shaker card uses sequins that are in Seattle Seahawk colors. I bought them at a craft store in Tukwila called Impress Rubber Stamps.

Hope you have a super day!

thanks for looking ~

  1. What awesome cards! And how thoughtful of you to take the time to make ones that would be especially meaningful to him. I am sure he will feel encouraged when he receives them. God bless you.

  3. Wow, your cards turned out so well Pam! I love the shaker card, but the other cards are equally amazing too! I too, am sending cards to a blogger that has pancreatic cancer. I wanted to shower her with cards from all over but she said I didn't have to do that, so I didn't want to give out her address without her permission. So since she didn't give permission, I figured I would just shower her with cards myself. So glad you sent this man these cards, I know they made his day Pam!!!! Hugs, Brenda
