Have you started your Christmas cards yet? I haven't!! After making this card tonight and seeing how easily it would be to make "many" of these, I think I'll be able to crank some out in time. The most time consuming thing is the die-cutting.. however, I did do a set of petals in red, a set of leaves in green, the green and gold centers all in one pass.. so you can get one card done in two passes ~ that is if you want the fuller poinsettia. You can make it just the two layers instead of four if you wanted to.
I used an awesome stamp set from My Favorite things called Joyous Christmas ~ LOVE the fonts!!
The Poinsettia is die-cut using the My Favorite Things Poinsettia Die-namics ~ love the way it embosses the lines on the petals and leaves.
These are the supplies I used for the card ~ plus card stock and foam tape.
I used this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #302: MFTWSC302
SUPPLIES:
card stock: Neenah White, Red, Green, Gold
pattern paper: Music Sheet paper from stash
stamps: My Favorite Things Joyous Christmas
ink: Versafine Black
accessories: Scor-Buddy, My Favorite Things Poinsettia Die-namics, My Favorite Things Die-Namics Border Die~ Mini Tabs Foursome, Foam Tape, Scotch Adhesive Tape Glider and Multi medium matte
