"OSAT Blog Hop - Spring Has Sprung" and some News!!

Welcome to the first stop on the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop. The theme this month is "Spring Has Sprung." I am super excited to share some fun news.  I have joined the TupeloDesignsLLC Design Team as a Guest Designer for the next two months.

I had so much fun making a card, a tag and a Carrot Basket as this month's projects.  I used an absolutely "must have" WPlus9 stamp and die set called Sending Sunshine.  I have had my eye on it for a long time.  I am so happy to now have it to stamp and create with.

First up is my card.  I used the largest die in the set for the Blue Raspberry layer and to cut out the Plaid layer as well.  I layered them both onto some black card stock to make them pop.

Next I die cut everything and oh my..  I didn't realize that the center of the Sun and the outlines of the clouds cut separate layers ~ oh my an extra bonus!!

After die cutting the Rainbow, I cut it off at the very bottom to have the stripes be apart. I then matched the colors up with some of the colors in the Plaid paper and colored in each strip with my Copic markers. I also went "carefully" around the edges of each layer with the colors being careful not to damage the nibs of my markers. I used the colors of:  BG45, Y13, Y38 and R22.

I die-cut the word "Sunshine" three times, adhered them together and then adhered them to a Sunshine that was die-cut in black.  I also die-cut the Sun four times and layered them onto each other for more dimension.

After I made my card I made a tag.  I die-cut another of the largest die with is this fun stitched scallop piece and then scored it in half.  I cut a white (2 1/8" x 3 1/4") and black layer (2 1/4" x 3 3/8") and adhered it to the tag.  I added a sun.  The sentiments are stamped in Black and Orange inks.  I punched a hole and put some fun orang polka dotted ribbon through it and tied with some embroidery floss.

Now for my project..   I made a basket from some MFT Tangy Orange card stock (directions below) and then make a cut-file for the Carrot tops that go around the tops of the basket using my Silhouette. I cut them from some Bazzill Spearmint Stick card stock. I used Scor-Tape to adhered the Carrot tops to the basket.  Today I went to the local Dollar Tree and they had put out all their Easter goodies ~ oh my goodness!!!  there was so much fun stuff I grabbed a whole bunch.  Look at those eggs that are chicks and bunnies ~ in the bag of goodies there are ones that look like carrots and a pink bunny.  The tag was perfect to attach to the bag.  This is one of several that I will make and give out to the awesome people that go to the adult day care center that my daughter attends.  I know they are going to love them.  I will write a note inside the tags to personalize it for each of them.

The little basket ~ box is super easy.  I started with a piece of card stock cut at 8 1/2" x 8 1/2". I scored each side at the 2 1/4" mark.  I snipped out a little bit on the one side of each corner, adhered adhesive as shown and folded it up to make the basket ~ box. After putting it together I adhered the carrot tops around the top, put the bunny bag that had some fake grass in it and was filled with eggs will with candy.   Super easy and so much fun!

This is the awesome die and stamp set that I used for my projects.  It and several other things I used today can be found (link below in supply list) on the TupeloDesignsLLC site ~ FREE U.S. SHIPPING on ALL orders!!!  **NOTE: I noticed when I went to link product that the stamps and dies are currently out of stock.  I will inquire when they will be back in stock and post an update. I apologize for that.

Thanks for stopping by ~ keep on hopping  ~ next up is Alisa ~ can't wait to see what she has created.
