It's the second Thursday of the month so you know what time it is??? One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop!!!
This month's theme is "LOVE IS IN THE AIR" ~ when I first saw what the theme was I started singing the song: Love is in the air everywhere I look around ~ Love is in the air every sight and every sound ~ And I don't know if I'm being foolish ~ Don't know if I'm being wise ~ But it's something that I must believe in ~ And it's there when I look in your eyes..........
okay.. enough singing.. on to my card. I made this card about a month ago. It's been sitting on top of a rack that sits on my desk. This week I wanted to drop it in the mail to send it off to someone special.. and I looked all over the place for it and couldn't find it. I mailed that person off a different card, then sat down only to look up and there it was!!! Do any of you all do the same thing? Something you are looking for is right in front of you and yet you can't see it.
I used the Art Impressions Unmounted stamp 4215 Tina Set. I colored this fun image up with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, cut her out and layered her onto my card using Foam Tape. This image makes me smile every time I look at it.
I have been a very busy lady today putting together two projects for a Valentine's Day party that I am going to on Friday. My oldest daughter has Cerebral Palsy and attends a day program here in town. I filled mailboxes with a bag full of all kinds of candy, treats and goodies. After filling all the mailboxes, I started on the pudding Minion Valentine's.
NOTE: This is not my original idea. I saw a post about these adorable Valentine's and just had to make them for everybody. Here is the link to where I read about how to make them as well as download the Printable Valentine that I added to each of them.. THE TIP TOE FAIRY
Thank you Stephanie for such a wonderful idea and for the adorable printable.
One of the people that go to the center is diabetic so I bought Sugar-Free vanilla pudding and put two together taping two of the sides to keep them on top of each other.
Since I shipped all my punches, I asked a friend if she had some punches I could borrow to make these. I have dies, but the punches made it SO much easier. I have no gray card stock on hand, nor did my friends and neither did the two local printers. I saved a gray card stock color and then opened it up to print, printed it to fit the page. It printed off the whole piece of card stock in the gray color I needed.
**note.. you could buy the big googly eyes instead of using the black and white circles. I figured that the puddings are going to be eaten and the containers tossed out, so I went with the paper punches instead and used the money to buy some other goodies for the party.
