Day 1. Distress Ink Sky "YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE" card using Lawn Fawn stamps/dies *W/MEASUREMENTS

I am taking part of the ‪#‎thedailymarker30day‬ and this is my Day 1 coloring project.

For Day 1 of the 30 day Color Challenge I first went and found a new sketch. I really like the Mojo Monday Sketche so that's where I headed. This weeks sketch was perfect for the stamps and dies that I had hoped to use. After getting all my stamps and dies out I said to myself "what the heck are you going to color?"..  so I decided to use some distress inks.  Two of the colors I used are new ones that I haven't ever used. They are such beautiful blues and were perfect for my sky.

here is the sketch I used: MOJO433: ~ measurements below sketch
MEASUREMENTS:

I used dies for most of the layers on my card, but you can easily just cut card stock to have the same layers:

base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"   OR  4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" (this is what I used)

blue layer:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

black layer:  3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
pattern layer:  3 3/4" x 5"

black layer:  2 3/4" W x 2 7/8" H
watercolor layer:  2 5/8" W x 2 3/4" H
*note on the water color piece. I had a bigger piece of water color that I had cut, applied inks and then cut to fit. The size above is the cut down size.

sentiment:
black layer:  1 3/8" x 2 5/8"
white layer:  1 1/4" x 2 1/2"

SUPPLIES:

card stock:  white, MFT Blue Raspberry, black. Watercolor paper
pattern paper: Doodlebug Hip Hip Hooray
stamps:  Lawn Fawn Sunny Skies
ink:  Versafine Black, Distress Inks:  Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire
