30 Day Color Challenge ~!!
I have always wanted to take part of the 30 Day Coloring Challenges that Kathy Racoosin does, but I never have. This time I'm going to try and color every day for 30 days. You only have to color for 5 minutes or more and use any color medium. I have friends that aren't card makers, but like to color in the adult coloring books, you too can join the challenge.
Be sure to stop by Kathy's blog daily to see what she's posted or follow along on Instagram.

"WARMEST WISHES ON YOUR BIRTHDAY" SSSC200 using Stampin' UP! stamps *w/measurements
Two years and three weeks ago I made a similar card using the sketch below. I had to search back through my blog to find the sketch and was happy to find that I had listed the measurements on that post as well.. thank you to me! that made making the card go a tad bit faster.
**MEASUREMENTS POSTED BELOW SKETCH
This is the sketch I used. It's one from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and is #200. Sadly the SSSC ended posting sketches at the end of 2015. They were some of my favorites.
**MEASUREMENTS:
card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
white layer: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
black layer: 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
stripes layer: 5" x 3 3/4"
black layer: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
pattern layer: 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"
banner flag:
black layer: 1 1/8" wide
pattern layer: 1" wide
*I made the flag ends and then adhered the pieces together. They were cut about 2" long. I then adhered it to the card and cut off any excess. I wasn't sure how long I wanted it to be so I made it longer to begin with.
*SUPPLIES:
card stock: black
pattern paper: Authentique Everlasting Paper Pad
stamps: Stampin' UP! Blooming With Kindness
ink: Versafine black, Stampin' UP! Summer Starfruit
accessories: Scor-Pal, MFT Oval Stax, Black Mini Brads from Eyelet Outlet, hole punch and Foam Tape

"A VERY HAPPY Birthday TO YOU" card using Technique Tuesday stamps
Last night I made a card using an old OWH sketch. Today I decided to use the sketch again to make another card. What a fun sketch it is. I miss the weekly sketch challenges that I did using the OWH sketches.
This was a super easy card to put together. I used papers from a My Mind's Eye paper pad, the sentiment is from a Technique Tuesday stamp set called "Hi There" and I finished it off with some brown brads.
Here is the sketch that I used:

"HAPPY BARKDAY" ~ Happy Birthday Tupelo!! dog paw print card
A Birthday card for a dog ~ why yes!! TupeloDesignsLLC is celebrating it's birthday this month. I made this fun Birthday card in honor of Tupelo's Birthday. Happy Birthday Tupelo!
I used a dog paw print stamp from a Hero Arts stamp set and a sentiment from a Paper Smooches Birthday Buddies set. The papers are from a Recollections Christmas paper pad. Super easy card.
Earlier today I saw a card posted by Kristie Marcotte using the sketch down below. It's one from Operation Write Home. I was inspired by her card using the sketch, that I had to make a card using it myself.
I made a card a long time ago using the sketch ~ it was one I made and gave to my husband for Veteran's Day. MY HERO HONORS CARD

SIP31 - MOJO431 "LET'S CELEBRATE YOU" using MFT Pure Innocence Birthday Girl stamp
What a blast I had making this card. I haven't colored in any of my My Favorite Things Pure Innocence images in a very long time. They are some of my favorite images to color.
The papers and card stock I chose for this card were ones that were still in a bag from when I purchased them a little while back at a Tuesday Morning store. The two card stocks are from Bazzill and the pattern paper is from Chatterbox. I bought them all at the time, plus a couple others, because they all went together so well.
I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch #431 and this week's Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #31 which is "Birthday".
here's my little girl. I used some different colors for skin this time.

"BELIEVE IN YOURSELF" card using Washi Tape and Die-cuts
The layer behind the sentiment is made up of strips of Flower Washi Tape that I put on a piece of card stock and then die-cut it out. The other die-cut pieces were all cut using dies in one of my My Favorite things Blueprints #6 set. After die-cutting, stamping and embossing everything, the card went together really quickly.

card stock: White. Bazzill Red. Stampin' UP! Brillant Blue
stamps: StampsOfLife Phrases2Say

~ "HUGS" ~ using With Love Washi Tape and Bumpy Heart Bling
Ahhhh.. I don't make a lot of cards using Washi Tape, but today I thought I'd make one using some With Love Washi Tape that was recently mailed to me. I did strips in the middle of the card and then stamped a sentiment on a die cut circle, layered it on a die cut scallop circle.. added a Bumpy Heart Bling .. layered it onto a black scallop layer, onto the card base and it was all done. These could be super easy to reproduce.
SUPPLIES:
card stock: black, white
stamps: Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler
ink: Vesafine Black
accessories: Scor-Pal, With Love Washi Tape and Bumpy Heart Bling from The Eyelet Outlet, MFT Blueprints dies, Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles and Scallop Rectangles and Foam Tape.

PPA284 "BIRTHDAY FISHES" card using Paper Smooches Stamps
When I saw this week's Pals Paper Arts Sketch #284 I printed it off and then did what I always do when I print off a sketch, rotate it to see which way I want to go with it. I ended up rotating this sketch one flip to the left.
I used some Paper Smooches stamps from Birthday Buddies, some Hat Brads from The Eyelet Outlet, an My Favorite Things Wave and a Circle die, along with a Stampin' UP! Cloud embossing folder. I colored in the fish with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I used colors on the fish that are on the hats. Super easy card that was so much fun to make.

"FOR ALL THAT YOU DO" Die-cut Trees with Buck & Doe Die-cuts card
What fun it is to die-cut new dies. I received an order from Scrapbook Outlet of a bunch of Gina Marie dies along with a stamp set. This was the first time I cut the trees and deer. I was going to do an in-laid background with the trees and thought the better of that when I realized how many tiny pieces I would have to put in. I then decided to do a sponged background using distress inks. That didn't work for some reason and I believe it was the card stock I was using. I gave up and decided to just use card stock for the background.
I die-cut the deer three times and glued them together to give them more dimension
**I ADDED LINKS TO THE DEER AND THE TREE FRAME DIES BELOW IN SUPPLIES.
SUPPLIES:
card stock: White, Brown. MFT Snow Cone and Olive, Papertrey Ink Black and Gold
stamps: Papertrey Ink Wonderful Words: Thank You
ink: Versafine Black, More Mustard
accessories: Scor-Pal, MFT Blueprints #2 and 19, Gina Marie Buck and Doe dies, Gina Marie Tree Frame Die, Sponge and Scor-Tape

"THANKS EVER SO MUCH" using WeRMemory Keepers Next Level Woven Folder & Paper Smooches
Today was the big day!!! The day I had been anxiously awaiting for the arrival of my order of We R Memory Keepers Next Level Embossing Folders "Woven". I love what these embossing folders do to paper. I embossed some pieces of Kraft card stock earlier today after I ripped open the package.. haha... and just had to make something using one of the pieces.
The sentiment is from a much loved stamp set from Paper Smooches called Pretty Phrases. The butterfly is a stamp from a Tim Holtz set called Happy Everything Blueprints. I stamped and colored it with Copic markers.

Deer Hunter card "THERE'S A PLACE FOR EVERY ONE OF GOD'S CREATURES.. beside the Mashed Potatoes n Gravy"
This past week I received an order that included these stamps and coordinating dies. I wanted to make something quick and used a Mojo Monday sketch ~ the hardest part of making this card was that I do not have any pattern papers that really went with a hunting themed card. I shipped nearly all my paper and only kept a handful of paper pads with me. sigh~!
All the men in my family are hunters in fact my husband and two son's all shot a deer when home for vacation last month. When I cook the venison, it will be have a place beside the mashed potatoes and gravy!
Here's the Mojo Monday Sketch I used. I turned it and then scooted the circle over to make it fit on my card: MOJO430
SUPPLIES:
card stock: Brown, White
Pattern Paper: Authentique Playful
stamps: Gina Marie Hunting Stamps and Dies Combo, Northwoods Trees
ink: Memento Espresso Truffle, Distress Ink Green
accessories: Scor-Pal, Mini Brown Brads, Hole Punch, Mini Distress Inker/Sponge, MFT Circle Stax dies and Foam Tape

OSAT January "No Rules" Blog Hop ~ "YOU TOTALLY ROCK" Paper Smooches Birthday Buddies Card & Chocolate Treat Boxes
Hello.. Welcome to January's One Stamp At A Time "No Rules" Blog Hop. Don't forget to click on the NEXT button at the bottom of the post to continue on to the next stop on the blog hop.
I had a blast making this card. I stamped and colored the adorable doggie from Paper Smooches Birthday Buddies stamp set. I pulled out my Copic markers which I haven't used in a long time and colored him up. I usually print off sketches if they are ones that I think I'll use and they sit near me so they are handy. For this card I grabbed the Retro Sketches #197 Sketch. This sketch was right up my alley since I "LOVE" layers ~ the more the merrier!!
To make the square treat holders you will need to cut your card stock to 4 1/4" x 8".
You will need to score your card stock on the short side at 1" and 3 1/4". Then on the long side at 2", 3", 5" and 6".
I decorated the outside of the boxes using panels I stamped and layered. I didn't color in all the doggies because I didn't think these were something that someone would be keeping after eating all the yummy chocolate.
Here is the sketch I used ~ RETRO SKETCHES RS#197:
SUPPLIES: CARD

For this card I grabbed the Retro Sketches #197 Sketch. This sketch was right up my alley since I "LOVE" layers ~ the more the merrier!!
Working on a "project" was a tad bit hard for me. I used to make all kinds of paper crafted goodies for my kids classrooms when they were in elementary school. Since they are older I got away from doing that. That said.. I happened to walk into the Shopette here on post and saw that they had a whole bunch of the Ghirardelli Squares marked down. I bought an entire box full. I plan on making a bunch and handing them out to people that I come in contact with almost daily ~ thatTotally ROCK!!
Below is the four that I made already. They are super fun & easy to make.
Each one fits three squares in each.
To make the square treat holders you will need to cut your card stock to 4 1/4" x 8".
You will need to score your card stock on the short side at 1" and 3 1/4". Then on the long side at 2", 3", 5" and 6".
After scoring your card stock you will need to cut away some parts as shown in the picture below, as well as cutting up the short pieces on the sides as shown in the picture below: note: when I cut up the side pieces I actually cut a tiny bit out because it makes it easier to fold.
After you've cut away and cut the side pieces you will then score all the folds and put adhesive on the flaps two pictures shown below:
I cut the flap that is the part you will fold into the box to 7/8" from the score line and then I rounded the corners.
I decorated the outside of the boxes using panels I stamped and layered. I didn't color in all the doggies because I didn't think these were something that someone would be keeping after eating all the yummy chocolate.

"A LITTLE BIRDIE TOLD ME ~ IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!" Tim Holtz Crazy Birds card for a friend.
Back in November a good friend of mine asked if I could make a card for her for her mom's birthday that is this month. I got so busy in December with family visiting and the holidays, that I hadn't had a chance to sit down and make anything. Last night I decided it was time to make a card for her because her mom's birthday is approaching rather quickly.
I pulled out the Crazy Birds and got busy making a card. It was one that I improvised as I went. After I colored the birds I took a waterbrush and flicked water on the bird images (I bought a spray bottle today because mine are in storage). After assembling all the pieces I took my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen and colored around the outer sides of the balloons, the center area of the hats, their beak and the bow/ribbon on the present.
This card went postal today to my friend. I hope her mom likes it as much as I do.
I had a few balloons leftover from the front of the card and I didn't want them to go to waste. I stamped the sentiments, adhered the balloons and drew in the balloon strings. I then attached the white panel to the black panel and somehow.. not sure how since I went and washed the ink off my hands.. but I got a tiny mark on the white piece right above the H in Birthday.. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I pulled out a tiny solid heart from a Lawn Fawn stamp set and stamped over it and then stamped a few others around on the piece.
I shipped my original WeRMemory Keepers Envelope board so I bought the new one about two months ago. This morning I finally cut that baby out of the packaging and made an envelope with it for the card. The card had so much dimension that it wouldn't fit in a regular envelope. This one is so much easier to use than the other one I have.
I made the envelope with the Stars on the inside, the flipside is white. I did this so my friend will be able to mail it to her mom and be able to address it.
SUPPLIES:
card stock: Black, White, Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper.
pattern paper on card: Authentique Classique Beauty
pattern paper for envelope: The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) Cosmic Whammy
stamps: Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Crazy Birds, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Crazy Things, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Crazy Talk. Lawn Fawn Stinkin Cute
ink: Versafine Black, Assorted Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens (I ordered the 48 pk from Amazon, and adds on through Tupelo Designs LLC, Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
accessories: Scor-Pal, WeRMemory Keeprs 1-2-3 Punch Board, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Crazy Birds Dies, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Crazy Things Dies, Fun Foam and Foam Tape
