Inked, Stamped and Embossed Trees Card "HAPPY HOLIDAYS"

I have seen so many cards done using a new Stampin' UP! Woodlands embossing folder. I don't have the folder, so tonight I looked through my bin of folders that I kept with me and lucky me, I had this tree one.

I purchased the embossing folders from Amazon.  It came in a two pack from We R Memory Keepers and the set was called:

We R Memory Keepers Woodgrain Goosebumpz Embossing Folder, 2 Per Package

It is very easy to do this technique.  You first ink up the inside of your embossing folder that has the flat area with the light blue, then ink up the tree stamp in green and stamp it directly onto the folder where you inked it up in blue.. stamp it near to the bottom which will be the bottom of your piece of card stock.   You then lay a piece of card stock carefully onto the inked side of the embossing folder, close it up and run it through your machine.  I cut my white card stock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and then trimmed it down to 4" x 5 1/4", layered it onto a black piece of card stock and then only the white card base.      If you have a tree embossing folder, you should give it a try.

This picture shows the Tree stamp I used, it is from Northwoods. I bought is many years ago at a stamp store in St. Ignace, MI in the Upper Peninsula ~ my favorite place to visit and one day hope to live there.
