My photo cards are all completed... this is how they turned out

I finished all my photo cards a couple of nights ago. I ended up filling two of the containers I fill with cards before sending them to Operation Write Home. I don't know how many I made, but there's a bunch. Some photos I had 30 prints printed, and some only 10 each.. and then there was three that I must've not been paying attention to and only had 1 of each done.. they still have 10 cent prints this week at Walgreen's so I'll get some more printed off.

I took these photos while we were in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan the last week of June and first two weeks of July. It is so beautiful.. if you ever get a chance to visit there, you should.

Here is each one and below the picture is what the picture is of.

Wagner Falls near Munising, Michigan

Upper Tahquamenon Falls... this is my favorite photo that I took at the falls that day.

Paradise, Michigan.

  1. Hey... I've been to all those places! Have you ever seen the Mackinac Bridge rubber stamp? Love it! Your cards look fantastic. :)

  2. I remember hiking up the lower falls in my teens. Whitefish was one of our favorites. We also went to a old pigiron ore ghost town Fayetteville? maybe. Pegg where can I buy the Mighty Mac stamp?

  4. Beautiful pictures of beautiful places! I've been to most of those places and haven't made photo cards in quite a while. I like that they are so simple, featuring the photo. I feel like I have "permission" to just keep mine simple too. Thanks for sharing!

BTW: I started a facebook page called We Craft for NF. My daughter has NF1 and we are working on selling JoyCards to support research about neurofibromatosis. Hope you can stop by and help us spread awareness!

  5. Pam,

These are lovely. You're a great photographer! You didn't mention if you labeled the cards with the names of the locations like you did for us. Did you happen to put that info on the back?

Thanks for sharing and giving some inspiration for how to use photographs. I have some from my travels that I'll have to look at closely now.

  6. Kathrny.. thank you for asking. I will put putting a sticker on the backs of each of the cards saying where the photo was taken and that it was taken by me.

Thank you so much for all the compliments.. blessings ~ Pam

  7. This post brings back some very good memories! We made a trip to the UP about 15 to 20 years ago. Loved everything but the mosquitos.

    Beautiful cards!
