SC404 I Love You So Much
For this card I used this week's sketch on the SCS Card Sketches Challenge Thread.
I had a lot of fun making this.. because I "LOVE" layers.. the more layers the better!!!..
I just had a thought.. maybe the reason why I love layers so much is so that I get to use my
favorite thing in my stamping arsenal.. DIMENSIONALS!!!!! I have 11 packs of an order
right now.. and I have a handful of packages still.. one can never ever have enough of them.
This morning while vacuuming.. I noticed that there was dimensionals papers in the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom.. bathroom.. and some even upstairs... I must've brought them on my clothes upstairs.. Them things are everywhere.
Here is the sketch I used on this card:
Supplies:
white, red and black card stock
pattern paper is from a paper stack that I forgot to bring upstairs with me ** the paper is from Echo Park and is from the Yours Truly paper stack.
ink is tuxedo black memento ink
accessories are some heart dies from nestabilities, a corner bracket punch to make the banner ends and dimensionals!!

MFTWSC91... You Are Bee-Utiful
I recently got an order from MFT and this cutie "Bee Yourself" was one of the stamp sets I ordered. I have been wanting to participate in the weekly MFT Wednesday Sketches, so I was tickled that this week I'd actually get my card posted during the time the challenge is ongoing.. unlike my "Wild Thing" card that I was a day late with.
The papers I used on here were gifted to me (along with a TON of other papers and stamp sets) .. when the boxes arrived, I had already colored in my image and was looking for papers and seen these.. I need to see who/what it is.. I left the package downstairs and forgot to bring it up with me. **the paper is from pinkpaislee and is from the Indigo Bleu paper pack.

OWH Sketch Challenge #139.. Veteran's Day card
For this week's OWH Sketch Challenge #139, I thought I'd make a Veteran's Day card for the upcoming holiday on November 11th. The card went together rather quickly.. the embossed and sanded stripe of stars was already made... after making it and looking at it, I wish I had just done a strip of gold instead of more stars.. I'll do that next time.
Here is the sketch I used:
The papers I used are some from a Hobby Lobby paper pack, the die is a Stampin' UP! Top Note Sizzix die and the sentiment is punched out from a 3" Fiskars circle punch. The stamp I believe is from DRS. It's downstairs right now and I totally forgot to look at it before coming up here to make sure.

My Little Loveosaurus...
Well.. I thought my MFT order was coming today, after checking the tracking on it and seeing "Sanford" I thought it was here.. however it was Sanford, FL, it will be here tomorrow. The day I put my order in and had wanted this set, but it wasn't available, I went to SCS and found one in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. I emailed the lady, paid her pronto, she mailed it out that day and it came in the mail today.. yeah! I stamped a whole sheet of them and colored in one.. I thought I'd make a card with it.. just love this image, it's so adorable.
supplies:
card stock: Neenah Black #100 cover, Neehan White, Marina Mist, My Mind's Eye pattern paper
ink: memento black and asst. copics
stamp set: MFT Loveosaurus
accessories: Stampin' UP! Embosslit heart, button, twine, brads and dimensionals

Happy Birthday........ Army themed
Last night I sat down to make a birthday card and I wasn't sure where to go with it. I had an SCS sketch and that was it.. one thing that this person likes is a sport that I have no stamps related to it.. so we decided to go with an "Army" theme.
Here is the sketch layout I used. SCS Sketch Challenge #402:
I altered my card to fit the images and such on it.. making the strip across the card on the bottom to go only half way.
I used three different stamps on this card. The collage image from a retired Stampin' UP! set Courage & Honor, a Sapper Tab and an Engineer Castle. Army themed papers, the gold piece with the embossed stars on it is some awesome paper I recently got at Tueseday morning.. it looks black and when you turn it, it's gold, not bright gold .. so pretty.

OWH Sketch Challenge #137 cards.. & my messy desk
Here are my three cards:
This card uses an adorable Pure Innocence girl that is from My Favorite Things (MFT .. I placed a big order with them two days ago and it will be here tomorrow morning.. yeah!!) The papers are from My Mind's Eye, Scallop border punch from Stampin' UP! The strip with the sentiment on it was from one of the papers in the paper stack.
This card uses stamps/dies from Sizzix/Hero Arts, sentiment from a Stampin' UP! set, papers from My Mind's Eye, scallop punch from EK Success.
This card uses a stamp/die set from Sizzix/Hero Arts.. the sentiment is from a Stampin' UP! set God's Beauty, the papers are from My Mind'sEye, large scallop punch from EK Success.
yikes!!! what a mess.. wait, this is actually pretty neat. I do have a pile up on my card stock cart.. that orange Fiskars rotary trimmer I was using because the blade in the blue one was terrible.. that rotatry trimmer was a pain.. so yesterday I went and bought four packs of replacement Titanium blades.. hopefully those last me for a short while. I need to re do my desk stop.. that rack with a small portion of the Stampin' UP! ink pads I have is really taking up room.. I don't use them (or I haven't in the last two months.. less maybe one or two).. so I am thinking of moving it buying one of those over the sink shelves to hold ink pads on top and underneath.
This is the sketch layout I used on the cards:: OWH SKETCH CHALLENGE #137
Note: I made my square 2 1/2" (2.25" was the measurement on the sketch posted on the OWH blog).

Warm Wishes ~ Christmas cards
I made this Christmas card two days ago.. and today decided to finally get around to cutting all the layers needed to make 10 more. I have them all ready to put together now.
supplies:
card stock: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
pattern paper: Stampin' UP! DSP
stamps: Santa is Inkadinkado and sentiment is Made with Love from Hero Arts
ink: Distress inks Red and Green
accessories: brads, button, twine and Dimensionals
**I am not using buttons on the cards that I cut all this stuff our for.. I used it on the first one because I had stamped my Santa so close to the top and it looked funny, so I added the button for interest.. I am concerned with the button making the card bulky for mailing, so I am going to leave them off.

Your Kindness is Truly Appreciated
I used some My Mind's Eye pattern papers.. some stamps from Hero Arts ~ don't throw anything, I forgot the name and it's downstairs.. yikes! should've remembered to bring it up here with me. I think it's something like Made With Love.. oh yeah!! that is the name.. I googled it up and it is the one.
While the piece that I cut was still in the die, I sponged in some distress inks.. that way you get a nice white border around your piece.
