GOD is your............ inspirational cards
Earlier this month I seen a digital print that you could get with a donation of only $2.00 on the Create with TLC website. I got it and printed some off and then last night trimmed them up and this morning put a couple of them onto cards.
I made two of these cards.... I hope that the recipient of them enjoys them as much as I had making them.

.. one more window card... sweet flowers for MOM
I already had this window cut out and had pulled out the stickers I found in the box of goodies my friend sent to me, so I was ready to make another card.. this one is for MOM.
I used my favorite brown card stock in the whole wide world... It's Classic Crest 100lb cover Cayon Brown ... I bought mine from XpedX.. they had to special order it for me. I got a ream of it, a ream of the Epic Black and two reams of white 100 lb cover card stock.. I got everything, plus shipping, less military discount for $124.00.. this will last me a very, very long time. I had to order it because the XpedX store here in town is closing in April and I didn't want to not be able to get some.. the stuff is fabulous.
used on this card:
card stock: Neenah Classic Crest Cayon Brown, White, Summer Sun
ink: Memento brown
pattern paper: My Mind's Eye "Love me Do"
dies: Grand Madison Window, Grand Flower box from Memory Box
misc: Bigkick, CB embossing folder, medium oval punch, scallop oval punch, tulip stickers, brown brads.. and Dimensionals!!!

Window into Springtime... I Miss You ... card
About two weeks ago I bought the window die I used on this card, then last week I purchased the window box die among others that day.
While digging through a big box of goodies that my friend Neva sent to me, I found these tulip stickers from Martha Stewart.. a lightbulb went on and I'd thought I'd use them in the flower box on the window. I put together the window, background cloud paper, window box and tulips earlier today.. and tonight I thought I'd use it on a card.. and this is what I ended up with.
Used on this card:
card stock: Stampin' UP! Perfect Plum, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, white
ink: black
pattern paper: My Mind's Eye "Love me Do"
dies: Grand Madison Window, Grand Flower box from Memory Box
misc: Bigkick, CB embossing folder, Card Candee, large oval punch.. and Dimensionals!!!

OWH Sketch Challenge #109... Hugs & Kisses
What a fun sketch that is for the OWH Sketch Challenge this week.
I made one card.. that after making it.. let's just say that I did not like it at all.. not even a little tiny bit.. none. So I thougth I'd make something else.. I dug through my Hero Arts stamps and realized that the XO set that I bought when I bought the Operation Write Home Hero Arts stamps had never been inked up... so I decided to use it.
I need more practice stamping repetitive things.. not as easy as I thought it would be.
My friend Neva from Ohio recently sent me a huge box of goodies.. trinkets, stickers,,, you name it and it was probably in that box! I found this red heart and put some white card stock under it.. I knew that black would show through better.. but didn't think that black on a heart was a good thing, so I stuck with the white.
Here is the sketch I used on this card:

Sweet Little Valentine's for my kiddos.
I seen this adorable digi I used on these cards on the Free Vintage Digital Stamps Facebook page this morning.. and just had to use it on Valentine's for my kiddos.
I thought I did all three cards the same.. but when I was done, I realized I had one as an upright card and the other two on the side.. oh well.. they won't even notice..haha.
I used black card stock for the bases, layered on with a layer of Cherry Cobbler, I layered the digi layer with black. Black ribbon up the one side and then I used the Bow Easy to make three bows and attach them with some glue that goodness sakes, that stuff came out and would hang like a string from the bottle.. it was driving me nuts trying to clean up all the excess that came out.

VCMP #7.. Clean And Simple Just Saying Hello
Today while at a local craft store (HL)... I picked up a pack of some Letterpress cards that are on clearance.. I grabbed a package of square envelopes for them as well.
When I seen the VCMP Challenge #7 Clean and Simple.. I knew just what I wanted to do.
I used a Hero Arts stamp for the Three Ferns image that I stamped in Peeled Paint ink onto Stampin' UP! Crumb Cake card stock, layered that onto Always Artichoke card stock.. stamped on the card base a sentiment from a Hero Arts Truly Appreicated stamp set.. added some "bling", layered on the main image onto the card using Dimensionals.. and it was done!

VCMP #6.. Sand & Sea.. using Tan and Blues
This card started out using the sketch challenge for this week.. however the "mother" panel was kinda too big so I decided scratch the bottom layer on the card, center the "mother" panel and use it that way.. I cut out a seperate butterfly and after attaching it using double Dimensionals on each side.. I covered it in some Rock Candy glitterly glue stuff.. it's from Ranger, can't remember the exact name.
When digging through some boxes in the garage last week I unearthed a whole bunch of Sizzix and Fiskars embossing plates.. so I grabbed one of the Sizzix ones, I think it's called Strung Beads, something with Beads in the name.. oh how I wish my computer was in my stamp room like it was before, then I could just get up, walk a few feet and grab what it is I used on something.
The challenge I ended up using this for is VCMP #6 Sand & Sea ~ using Tan and Blue.

Tent Topper Card... A Merry Christmas
A while back OWH had a "pick your top 10 cards of 2011" and one that I had picked was a tent topper Christmas card I had made. A fellow stamper asked me how I did it, so I thought I'd make another and explain.. it's super easy.
For this card I used an image from a Stampin' UP! set called Boughs & Holly.. and one from Stampers Best (use code: airbornewife) titled Winter Church. Cherry Cobbler card stock, as well as cream and some patterened papers. Riding Hood Red ribbon, a big brad, bigkick, Top Note Die, Oval punches and Dimensionals!!!
I cut a 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of card stock, score it at 4 1/4" and fold.
I then cut some layers to go on top of it.
On the card I made here I used a Stampin' UP! Top Note Die.. but you can use anything.. a big square, circle, rectangle.. any shape. Then I put some layers on that piece as well.
On my grid paper I put a mark at the 5 1/2" line.. I set my card base near the edge of the paper and then put my topper on it.. I did have adhesive on the back of my topper piece.. in fact I had laid it on it to get a mark as to wear to put adhesive.. I put it a little bit below that mark and put some at the top of the card base itself.. that way I didn't have a bunch of adhesive showing on the back of the topper.
When I am putting the topper on my cards.. I do not have the layers on the lower portion glued on the card base itself.. I do that in case I want to put brads or wrap ribbon around it.... that is the last thing I do is attach the lower top layers with topper attached to my card base.. hope that makes sense.
then just decorate your card.
