I got an email last night with the new sketch challenge on SCS and printed it out. I got busy earlier today (tending to that arm of mine!) and wasn't able to get busy with the challenge till this afternoon.
Here is the layout:
If you'd like to try the challenge yourself, you can post your card in the SCS gallery and then link it to the SC274 thread. I subscribe to the challenges, so I get an email each week letting me know when they are posted.. it's a lot of fun!
This is the card I made.... I used all Stampin' UP! cardstock (mellow moss, white, bravo burgundy and Recollections DSP) Flower Fancy stamp set, saying is from a Fiskars stamp set, Nestabilities, Cuttlebug and Sizzix Embossing Folders, Bigkick, Leaves are a Stampin' UP! Sizzlet die, circles on flowers are punched from the Crop a dile, I put some glassy glaze on the circleson the flowers.... lots of Dimensionals are used ~ they are my most favorite in the Stampin' Up! catalog.

~*Hang In There*~ cute monkey card & Clean Desk!!!
**I made a card for my hubby on Friday,.. I wanted to get it in the mail that day and right after I finished it, I put it in the envelope, addressed it and put it in the mailbox.. I later thought to myself that I hadn't taken a picture of it.. I will try to make another, it used a wonderful daying from a new Fiskars stamp set.
I cleaned off my desk today, in fact I cleaned off my table (I have a rectangle dining room table in the middle of the room that I can easily reach from my stamping desk by just turning around) ~ I got clear stamps into containers, bought some curtain rods from the store and mounted them onto a piece of material that used to be the desktop to a desk I had in Missouri that didn't make it here to North Carolina in one piece. I kept this big piece thinking I would use it one day, maybe mounting it to something and making a work station for say my Cricut Expressions.. anyways it's been up here leaning against a wall behind a computer desk, and today I decided to mount curtain rods to it. The drill ran out out "ompft" after the third rod, and I only bought 4, but could fit more on the thing so I am going to go back and get more.
I made this card tonight.. just finished it a little bit ago. It's nearly midnight, sadly I am not even tired and could probably make another card, but I do need to try and get some sleep!
I used all Stampin' UP! cardstock and designer paper, the punches are Stampin' UP! The embossed/cut layers are Nestabilities. The stamp set is a Hero Arts set called Playful Animals.
I hope everybody has a super week ahead of them.

~*Nuts For You*~ card for my hubby
I got all the Easter cards on their way to Iraq.. they aren't there yet, but on their way.
I made this card this afternoon and sent it in the mail to my hubby.
The stamp set I used is from a Hampton Art flip book that I got a while back at ACMoore using a half off coupon. I hadn't used it until today.. I bought it because of the saying "nuts about you".. the set is so cute.

...... some more finished and another set cut and ready to assemble
I finished the last set of 12 and have cut and stamped all the pieces to make another set. I had been using the regular Versamark and then remembered that I had the dazzle one.. it makes the paper shimmery.. so the last bunch and this bunch I have been using it on for the background with the large Floral background stamp.
I'm going to work on these by punching the bottom of the one pieces and then tying ribbons on them and putting some strong adhesive on the back of them.. dimensionals on the other parts and put them all together.. sounds easy huh? a little time consuming, and these might have to wait until after dinner.. but I am really happy that I am well on my way to getting the cards made so I can get them on their way to Iraq.

.... on a roll. More Easter cards ready to assemble.
another dozen Easter cards completed
I just finished putting together the dozen cards I had all the stuff ready for last night. The tying of the ribbon was probably the most time consuming .. I noticed when I was putting them togther that I got my layers reversed on the scallop circle and the cirle around the highlighted piece should've been the darker color.. guess I was tired.. I do like the way they turned out. Now to make some more!

~*Easter cards*~ made today
I made all of these Easter cards today, they will be going to Iraq to soldiers in my husband's unit to mail home to their families and friends.. the second to last picture is of all the parts to put together 12 more cards.
I made these this morning:
Then me and the kids went to Fun, Fun, Fun! today and had so much fun. We got home, I fixed dinner, ate, cleaned up and then started on some more cards. I had to switch color combo because I ran out of the Perfect Plum. With making so many cards, I am running low on so many colors and need desperately to replenish my cardstock stock.
This picture is of the second set of cards in another color combo: Lavender Lace and Almost Amethyst.
Everything is stamped, layered, punched and even has the dimensionals on the back.. only thing to do is to attach the ribbon.
It's hard to see, but on the background on all the cards, I used versamark and the Floral background stamp.. you can see it in person, but it's hard to show up in some pictures.
............. and last but not least... what I always have on hand when I am stamping, a drink from Sonic.. today it's a 44 unsweetened ice tea with 4 pieces of lemon and 6 sweet & low.. yummy!........
ignore the "stuff" in the background, I have been too busy stamping to clean it up.. ha ha.. the punched and layered flowers are something I might use on some Mother's Day cards.

~*Easter *~ cards to send to soldiers in Iraq
I didn't realize that Easter this year is on April 4th (that's what I get for not thinking ahead) I need to make a box full of cards to send to Iraq and made one a couple of nights ago:
I made these two last night and I really like them:
The one with the punched border is the one I think that I will mass produce and will change the ink colors around on the main image.. stamping in the darker color and hightlighting with the lighter. I was just working it as I went.
I had to go to a local craft store last night because the only dark purple grossgrain ribbon I had was a piece that was about 16" long.. I used it on the two cards.. I have a brand new roll but it's of a brighter purple.
I'm going to work on these this weekend.
I used all Stampin' UP! products on these cards.. Serene Spring and Floral Background and the Easter saying is from a new SU set called Well Scripted.

~*WELCOME BABY*~ goldfish baby card
I made this card this morning to take out to the unit that Steve was in before the one he is in now. I hope that they enjoy it. The goldfish panel was cut from a pad of paper from K&Co that I got years ago, the polka dot paper was from that same pad, the rest of the paper is from Stampin' UP, as is the ribbon, button and the punches that I used to punch out the pieces that make up the saying layer, also a Stampin' UP! set.
