~*I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG*~
After I finished my last card.. I looked to my left where on a book shelf is some three drawer containers.. there are single stamps in these drawers. I opened up one and seen the Stampin' UP! children with flag image and in the back fo the drawer the Pledge of Allegiance. I pulled them both out and made this card in less than 5 minutes.. it was so easy.. I think it needs some red on it though!
thanks for looking ~

~*You Only Live Once*~ Orange toned card
This afternoon on a whim, I decided to stamp some of the flower images from Fifth Ave. Floral Stampin' UP! stamp set. I inked the flower in Versamark and then Versafine ink, clear embossing powder and heat set. I stamped four of them and colored in three.
I used Only Orange for the card base, chocolate chip layer, some DSP from the ret. Wanted paper pack. For the layer behind the saying layer (which is very vanilla, saying stamped in brown ink and circle was cut/embossed using nestabilities die) I took a chocolate chip piece and cut out the top not bigz die, turned it, cut again, turned it, cut again.. etc... till I had a somewhat circle shape. I cut out all the flowers, cut out the leaves using the Sizzlit Little Leaves die and put it all together.. oh, I forgot the sponging and the brads in the corner. That's it!

~*TRICK OR TREAT*~ Halloween Pumpkin Card
This card uses the same layout as the last one I did.. I woke up this morning wanting to make another card.. this layout is so much fun.
I used an Inkadinkado stamp set, All Stampin' UP! papers (except for the watercolor paper), Versamark/Versafine Inks, embossing powder, markers (see my boo boo on the one pumpkin!)... I used a plastic canvas circle to use as a template for the paper piercing.

~*GO CONFIDENTLY*~ soft sky & chocolate chip card
Good EARLY morning everybody...
I seen a card in the new Stampin' UP! holiday mini and really liked the layout it used.. so I thought I'd use the same layout. I pulled out some retired things for this.
Live Your Dream stamp set, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White card stock, DSP (can't remember the name right this second!.. something to do with wallpaper I think! ha ha), nestabilities dies, beautiful chocolate chip ribbon, dimensionals, versmark, and clear embossing powder.
I'm surprised I remember it all.. it's 2 am and I am about to fall asleep!
have a great weekend ahead.

WSC99 ~*PEACE*~ Christmas Card with Owls
This card uses the layout for the WSC99 on Fresh & Fun (Beate John's blog) ~ I used a Hero Arts Christmas set, some Basic Grey paper and Stampin' UP! card stock. The circle is cut out using a Nestabilities die and a Bigkick. I just realized by looking at the circle, that I should've trimmed it after I had adhered it to the cardbase.. durnit!
I used some Glossy Accents on the owls and the berries.. it's still wet, but will look pretty neat when dried and raised.

~*BOO!*~ Mummy card using medical tape
I have a bag left in my garage of medical tape and gauze.. I gave away most all that I had to the local volunteer fire department. I was in the garage last night and seen the bag and grabbed a roll and thought I'd give it a try to make a mummy card using the tape.
I cut out my card base, then the black layer and a layer of white cardstock that I covered in the medical tape.. the sponged Creamy Caramel ink over it after I was done.. I punched out the eyes using a 3/4" and 1/2" punches.. they were sponged as well. the Boo! was from a $1.00 set, punched out using oval shape and a nestabilities oval for the black layer, they were sponged as well. I rolled over the pieces of tape that were over the edges of the mummy piece and trimmed off what I could that wouldn't curl under.. it is layered using dimensionals.. Stampin' UP! are my favorite item.. my most favorite item in all the catalogs!

~*JOY*~ Night of Navy & Silver Snowflakes Christmas Card
I used some Adirondack acrylic paint daubers (silver metallic) that I inked up the snowflakes with and then stamped onto the Night of Navy card stock. I heat set for a few seconds after stamping to dry it... it dried really fast. I just layered the NON onto Sarhara Sand card stock and then stamped the saying, along with a stamped off image of the snowflakes on it, then layered it using some oval punches. I finished it off with some ribbon.. oh, the snowflakes are nestabilities dies.. I daubed the silver paint around the edges of the layered piece, saying and snowflakes.. nothing, pretty quick card.. I wanted to dry out the acrylic paints.. they are from Tim Holtz/Ranger.

~*NOEL*~ Lovely As A Tree Christmas Card
Here it is 12:30 am. and I am up still.. I just finished this card.. nothing fancy, but I wanted to stamp something, so this is what I ended up with.
I used Lovely as a Tree and Many Merry Messages, along with a Hero Arts background stamp. Top Note Bigz Sizzix Die cut out twice, then the gray layer is cut into quarters to layer behind Very Vanilla piece. I used some Cranberry Crisp "beautiful" ribbon and tied it with some embroidery thread off to the side.. the saying is layered using oval punches and a scallop oval punch... the bottom edge uses a Stampin' UP! scallop border punch.

~*THANK YOU*~ teddy bear card using Dustin Pike digi stamp image
This cute little bear "thank you" image was a freebie at http://www.dustinpike.com/ ~ I have a special person I want to send it to.
I printed it out (along with 8 others/set on wallet) using my HP Laserjet and then cut it out, colored it in using some copic markers. I used the SCS sketch challenge for this layout.
Sorry for not posting more often.. I haven't actually been stamping much because of my shoulder/arm pain that I have been dealing with. I found out this past week that the problem is something called Degenerative Joint Disease. I am going to Physical Therapy twice a week, however it was wrecking my days when I went.. I would come home in so much pain, I had to lay down for hours to get my arm to loose the numb/painful feeling that it had.... when the doctor called me about the results of my Nuclear Bone Scan, she said that PT shouldn't be hurting like that, to only work on range of motion exercises, so when I went on Thursday, I told them what was going on, they changed things around and for once, I left without hurting ~ yeah~!
Tonight my husband asked me why I hadn't been stamping.. he said he was worried about me because I hadn't been stamping and he knows much I enjoy doing it.. my arm had really been bothering me tonight, I took a pain medicine and waited a bit for it to take affect.. then I came upstairs to make this card.
There is no stamping involved on this cutie.. just print, color in, layer and assemble the card.

~*BABY BOY & GIRL CARDS*~ for 20th Engineer Brigade Care Pkgs.
note: the spots are not on the cards, but must be on the lens of my
camera... guess I need to get it cleaned! I wish I had put the polka
dot panel on the girl cards a bit higher, but they still look cute
the way they are. thanks for looking ~ Pam
I was asked if I would make some baby cards to put into baby care packages that are being packed tomorrow. Of couse I would.. and of course I wait till the last day to make them. I didn't do this on purpose, it's just that life got in the way.. oh.. along with my bum (aching all the time) shoulder didn't help either. Hopefully when I go to the doctor on Tuesday that my Nuclear Bone Scan I had last week will have been read and they'll know what is going on. XRays and an MRI couldn't determine it.. the MRI only showed dark and bright spots, the reason why they ordered the NBS.
Anyways.. back to these cards.. adorable if I may say so!
I used So Saffron for all the card bases.. Regal Rose, Pink Piroette (sp?) along with some American crafts polka dot paper.. the ribbon is Regal Rose, I stamped the duck image from Wagon Full of Fun stamp set, and colored in with markers. I was going to watercolor and realized how much time that would take.. so markers did the trick.
I hope that they like them... if they don't, I guess I just won't be asked to make anymore in the future (I hope that's not the case) ~ I had fun making them.
Before I forget.. I rounded off all the corners of the card bases using my new Corner Chomper ~ WHICH I LOVE!!!

~*MERRIEST WISHES*~ Christmas Card
My hubby got me a Hero Arts stamp set a while back at Michael's using a 50% off coupon.. and tonight it finally got some ink to it.
I used a Sizzix embossing folder for the Certainly Celery layer, some retired SU DSP paper to the left of the tree image. Always Artichoke was the other green card stock I used, along with Whisper White. SU Oval and Scallop Oval punches were used on the ornament piece and some Certainly Celery wide grossgrain ribbon finishes it off.

Blue Flower ~ *YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE* ~ card
Here it is 1:06 in the morning and I am done with my card, tired and ready to head to bed.
With the exception of the Copic markers I used to color in the flower and the Nestabilities I used on the oval and scallop oval, I used Stampin' UP! product.
Fifth Ave Floral stamp set, along with the Manhattan Rose embossing flower.. oh so pretty and two "must, must have!" items!!!
okay.. gotta run before I fall asleep here as I sit and type... goodnight.
*PS.. what a goob I am.. I just noticed that I used Very Vanilla on the background for the flower/leaves.. and Whisper White with the saying ~ the saying is on dimensionals which I can remove tomorrow and restamp/cut it out using Very Vanilla.. that's what happens when you stamp when you are tired.. serves me right!
