24 cards from one Authentique 6 x 6 Paper Pad "CELEBRATE YOUR DAY!"

This card is one of 24 that I made using an entire Authentique Paper Pad.

I shared the pic below and this write up on a FB group I belong to:

For those of you wanting to try and use a 6 x 6 pad for some cards, here is an idea. For each sheet in your paper pad you will get one card. Cut the sheet 4" x 5 1/4" then cut the leftover piece that is already 2", to be 2" x 4 1/2" and flip it over. Depending on what the pattern is on the flip side you will need to watch how you're cutting the first layer. I then cut a white piece 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". I will stamp my sentiment near the bottom of the white piece and add a star or flower to the left corner. I layered each piece 1/8" bigger. I am using an Authentique paper pad and the flip side happens to be solid, but you could mix and match patterns to see what you like. Hope this all makes sense.

I used a Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge Sketch #226 and went from there.

Here are all the cards I ended up with from one whole paper pad.

I cut everything out to make the cards:

Everything is layered, punched and stamped:

Here is the Authentique paper pad I used, it is called Wishes.

I haven't tried this yet with one of my My Mind's Eye paper pads, but did figure out a way for it to be done, using the 2" strip on another card. I'm going to give it a whirl before posting it here.

I have more Authentique paper pads and am going to see what else I can make using the entire paper pad.

thanks for looking ~

have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

These are lovely and such a great use of one pad. You give me the mojo to do this as well. OWH is going to love them...and so will the folks getting letters from their loved ones back home.

I'm trying to get thru one pad, it's taking me forever! Love the sentiment so much, I went to buy it and it's OOS so I'm on an email list. Can't wait until I can order it.

Hi Pam, this is a terrific idea. I call these cards 4's and 2's. Any sketch that uses a 4"x5.25" base and then a 2" cross piece or panel works great with your plan. I really should inventory all of my sketches from all the sites I save from and gather up a bunch for you. I may send you some if you'd like.

These are great!! I have so many 6X6 pads that I've bought specifically to do this sort of thing but I never seem to be able to get through the whole pad. I'll give this sketch and your technique a try. Thanks for sharing all your great cards!
