Operation Write Home ~ World Card Making Blog Hop "THANK YOU" cards

Hello Everybody..  Happy World Card Making Day!!!    Welcome to this stop on the Operation Write Home Bloghop.

Today I have some super quick and easy "Thank You" cards that can be made over and over again in a multitude of colors.

I got some new stamps this past week and wanted to get some ink on them.

I used OWH Sketch #78 for my card..  the sketch called for a larger layer under the three smaller pieces.. instead I chose to layer each of the three pieces.

These went together to quickly..   stamp the image three times, punch each one out with a square punch and punch out three colored squares to layer them onto. After cutting and scoring the card base.. I cut the colored layer and then the top white layer.  Stamped the sentiment then put it all together.  The three squares are on dimensionals..  my all time favorite product.. the ones by Stampin' UP! that is.

Card Supplies & Measurements:

card stock:    #100 white cover, Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Crushed Curry and Gumball Green
ink:  Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Crushed Curry and Gumball Green
stamp sets:    sentiment is from Annabelle Stamps Fanciful Flowers, Stampin' UP! Simply Sketched
Accessories:  1 1/4" square punch, 1 3/8" square punch, Dimensionals!!!!

Card base:  8 1/2" x 5 1/2"  scored at 4 1/4"
colored layer:   4" x 5 1/4"
white layer:  3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

thanks for looking ~

have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

You've always been an inspiration to me since I first joined OWH and this time's no exception. Love the multiples, as well as your take on the sketch. I agree; matting each square made them stand out much more! Thanks to your family for your service!!!

Your card is striking in that each one seems to stand out and yet come together to create the entire image! Wonderful colors. Thanks for sharing. I have pinned it for future inspiration.
