OWH Sketch Challenge ~ TLC "My Hero" ~ Patriotic Card

My card today uses this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge #123 layout. I printed off the sketch yesterday ~ along with the bonus sketch (I'll make a card with that later today).. and set it aside. This morning while reading through my Google Reader, I come across Create with TLC blog and seen this "My Hero" Memorial Day Freebie.

As soon as I seen the "My Hero" digi, I knew I wanted to use it on a card using this week's sketch... and here is my card:

Here is the sketch that I used for it:

supplies:

card stock: Cherry Cobbler, Navy Blue linen card stock, white. Star pattern paper unknown
ink: HP laserjet printer
accessories: sewing machine, Quickutz alphabet die, bigkick, punch (for banner ends) and dimensionals

thanks for looking ~

have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

Beautiful work Pam! I love the warmth the golden background paper adds to it. A great alternative to stark white with the red and blue. The stitching is a great touch too!
