OWH Sketch Challenge #110... I Miss You

I made this card using the sketch layout for this weeks OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge #110.

This card was kind of a throw it all together and see what you get in the end, kind of card.. haha. I cut this red window about two or three weeks ago.. and last week my 13 yr. old son suggested to have the window panes black, so we cut a window out in black and trimmed just the panes out.. then I thought why not use some clear plastic to make it look more like a window.... after I had all that done, I had no clue what to stamp to see through the window and grabbed a Thomas Kinkade stamp.

Nothing really goes together.. but I hope that someone will enjoy it just the same and that the message of love, and someone missing their loved one, is conveyed with this card and I hope that whomever receives it... it brings a smile to their face.

Here is the sketch layout:

thanks for looking ~

have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

OMG Pam! This is AWESOME!! It certainly does not come across as a "thrown together" card. Great composition... :)

Genius! The best cards, for me, are the "make all the elements and see how they fit together" type cards. This is a great sketch for this window - you must be having lot of fun figuring out new ways to use it. Great job in this one!
