OWH Midweek Throwdown Challenge... I LOVE YOU BEARY MUCH

The Midweek Throwdown Challenge on the OWH Stars & Stamps blog this week is a color challenge. The colors to use are Green and Yellow.

I learned something tonight.. I don't have much pattern papers in the color combos of Green and Yellow, or even green and yellow ones that I liked together... I started on this card shortly after 8.. it's now 11:50. I already had the image colored, so all I had to do was find some papers. I would've never guessed it would've taken me so very long to do so. I looked through hundreds, if not a thousand.. ha ha.. of pattern papers. I finally chose some that had Green and Yellow in them.. along with some other colors.

When I got to the sentiment.. I was too tired to dig through stamps to find the sentiment I wanted, so I just typed it up in MS Word and printed it out. Good thing I did because sitting here now, I don't think that I have a stamp that says "I Love You Beary Much".

This adorable image is from Bugaboo Stamps.. his name is Theodore.. ain't he cute as can be??

For this card I used:
stamp: Bugaboo digi stamp, typed sentiment
card stock: Brown from XpedX, white
pattern paper: My Mind's Eye Boo To You
accessories: Nestabilities dies, brown brads, hole punch, Peeled Paint Distress Ink, foam applicator, BigKick, Copic Markers and Dimensionals

thanks for looking ~

have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

Pam, what a precious card. I love your computer generated sentiment with this adorable image. Sometimes I wonder how I ever get a full box of cards done because I have many days that you had where it takes me hours and hours just to finish one card. Thank goodness I get some day that I can spit them out in a hurry, but not too many of those days. All your fabulous efforts your put into this card really shows.

All your efforts were worthwhile as this is such a cute card and design. I have the same problem coordinating papers and layers a lot of the time.

Great job on the papers -- and yes, I often struggle with matching just the right papers. I start out very neat and organized -- then when I am finished I think I've pulled every piece of paper out LOL I love the bear -- he is just too cute. Great coloring job too.
