OWH Masculine/Father's Day Challenge ~ Gus the Golfer

Operation Write Home has a new challenge that started a couple of days ago.. this one is "MUSCLE CARD CHALLENGE" .. masculine ~ Father's Day cards.

This is my first card to go in the box. Last year I made a bunch of "Dad" themed cards and so enjoyed making them.. I have many sets that are perfect for cards with that theme and I am anxious to get busy making some.

This card uses a Bugaboo digi stamp called "Gus the Golfer"... my husband and two sons are all golfers. During Spring Break they golfed every single day but one. They walked nearly every time as well.. that's a lot of miles.. I know because I went one of the days and it's like 5-6 miles for a whole 18 holes. My backside hurt so bad after walking all that way that it took me a couple of days to recover.

Used on this card:

Bugaboo Gus the Golfer digital stamp printed off with a laserjet printer

card stock: All Stampin' UP! Wild Wasabi, Real Red, More Mustard and White

paper: Stampin' UP! East Coast Prep Designer Series paper (retired)

acces: asst. markers, embossing folder, circle punch (I punched out two circles, glued them together before embossing them so that it was a thicker piece), a wooden golf tee that I cut in half using my old Ginsu knife.. I have the other half so I can make another card, and foam tape

thanks for looking ~

have a great airborne day!
God Bless All Our Military.. each and every one of them

what a fun card - glad you did not hurt yourself cutting that tee in half.

I have about 12 masculine cards made but have been working on them for a couple weeks.
