Double Coupons up to $2.00 at Kmart ~ spent only $26.61

I usually am the first to look through the Sunday paper and check out all the ads to see if anything is a good deal.. using coupons of course to bring the price down even more. I scoured through the ads yesterday and didn't see a lot.. but then last night I sat down with the paper again because I hadn't read a couple of sections and since the ads were on top, I thought I would browse through them again. I don't normally ever look at the KMart ad, the few times I have been in the local store, it's always a mess, so I just don't go. However something caught my eye on the front page.. "Double Coupons up to $2.00" ~ wowzers!! I was quite excited and by looking at what they had on sale, I knew I'd be getting some things for FREE or next to nothing.



This is what all I got today.. and only spent $26.61 and that included tax.

Item and cost after coupons:

20 Tubes of Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste all FREE!!
8 packs of Dentek tooth floss picks .99 cents each bag
6 bottles of Gillette shampoo .50 cents each bottle
2-2pks of Oral B toothbrushes .99 cents each pack
3 rolls of Bounty paper towels .49 cents each roll
1 Scott Extra Soft 12 pk toilet tissue $3.50 for pkg
3 large bottles of Downy Fabric Softener $1.00 per bottle

The Downy was actually supposed to be more than the $3.00 each
that was the price before the coupon was taken off. Someone forgot
to take down the sign for the sale last week. I had the $1.00 off
coupons that came in the P&G coupon book that was sent to me a
couple of weeks ago.


I am going to look back through my coupon binder and see if I have
some more coupons that might be worth taking another trip over to the
store to redeem.
