Big Heart Card for someone special

I started this card earlier this afternoon while I was waiting for the rain to let up so I could go pick up my two youngest children from school.... the elephant got stamped and the cardstock cut.. then I finished it up a little bit ago... still raining here in Missouri.. our yard in front, back and sides are like ponds. On the one side yard it's a river because you can see it flowing like one.

thanks for looking, Pam

Quicky Chirp UP! Birdie Card

Yesterday I took my kids to the Fitness Center to swim in the indoor pool. I took along with me some cardstock, watercolor crayons, aquapainter, Very Punny stamp set and some Stazon Black ink.. I stamped a whole sheet of little characters and then colored them in.. these are some of the birdies.. they are so cute! This is a quick card I put together this afternoon.

We are supposed to have some more bad weather here in Missouri, so hopefully I'll be able to get done this afternoon what I want to without having to take shelter in the closet with a pillow.

thanks for looking and reading, Pam

Afternoon Tea & Live Your Dream Cards

I can't say enough good things about this stamp set and designer series paper.. I LOVE it!

These are some cards that I made right after I got my order (awhile back) ~ the Thanks card I took with me to Tulsa and had it attached with a stamp set that I had taken to be given away as a door prize. Some fellow SCSer's met at the Spaghetti Factory in Tulsa on Friday March 7th and had a dinner and card swap.. then on Saturday me and my friend Linda attended the Stampin' UP! Regional event ~ it was SO much fun.

Easter Weekend Cards made with my Mom

My mom and dad made a surprise visit Easter weekend and brought along my niece and nephew ~ they are growing so fast. During the visit me and my mom got to do some stamping, which we don't get to do very often living in different states. These are the cards we made during the weekend ~ we had SO much fun!
The Scor-Pal made it so easy to make the double gate fold cards.
The Designer Series paper on the two Thanks cards is Stampin' UP! Afternoon Tea which is in the Occasions Mini catalog. It is so beautiful and matches with the Live Your Dream stamp set ~ I am going to have to buy up some of the paper, because I don't know if it'll end up in the Fall/Winter catalog or not ~ I hope so!!

Purely Pomegrante Happy Everything Card March 29, 2008

Stampin' UP! has some colors that are called "In-Colors" ~ they are absolutely beautiful and this Purely Pomegrante color is my one of my top favorites. I bought this stunning ribbon back in December I think, and never cut into it til last night.. oh my, I should've bought more for sure.

This card was changing as I was making it and even thought it didn't end up quite the way I wanted it to, it'll work just the same.

Everything on this card is embossed with clear embossing powder.

Ink: Purely Pomegrante, Versamark

Clear Embossing Powder (Ranger brand)

Bathtub ~ Shower Card March 30, 2008

This is a fun card that I made this morning. The card didn't start out as a "bathtub" but when I scored the lines on the So Saffron cardstock using my Scor-Pal ~ and turned it over, it looked like Bathroom tiles to me ~ so I went from there and ended up with this bathtub/shower card.
