This Pink Piourette and Close to Cocoa card went to gether rather quickly, because when I made the other card, I stamped two images and colored it then as well.. so all I had to do was build a card around it..
The next card I made, didn't involve any stamping.. just the use of some Thickers Stickers and a flower/sun sticker from Basic Grey.. my husband is always going around saying "smokin' hot!" mostly calling me that.. I just giggle and smile. I wanted to make him a long card with the letters all stamped out in red spelling out Smokin' Hot using Well Worn Alphabet, but mine is in storage, so I used the thickers, he'll get a kick out of it.
I then set out to make a card for my oldest daughter Heather. Her 21st Birthday is this coming up Monday. She is a sweetie.. she has Cerebral Palsy and has been telling me the last day or two that she doesn't want to go to Ci Ci's or Cracker Barrel for her birthday, which I know she loves going to both.. so today I sat her down and asked her where she really wanted to go.. and I guess it's Ci Ci's. We are going to invite some of the lifeguards at the pool where the kids go nearly all the time, and many who they have known for years. I think that she'll really enjoy that if some of them come. This card has the colors of Red Riding Hood and Pink Pirouette Bella Rose DSP and some of the Old Olive Twill Ribbon.. I used the scallop punch, a 1 1/4" and a 1 1/2" circle punch, Fundamental Phrases set which was a SAB rewards set.. yeah.. loving it more and more as I use it and I cut out the butterflies from Dreams de Jour. Here's the card ~ hope she likes it.
My last card is Red, White and Bue... ah.. well Real Red, Blue Bayou and Very Vanilla is what I really used.. I love anything red, white and blue so this card is my favorite of the day. I used Land that I Love eagle stamped in Blue Bayou, the striped paper is from the Print Pack, a Level 1 hostess item in the current catalog.. some striped Red/White Grossgrain Ribbon tied in a knot.. and some double punched stars.
Thanks for strolling along with me while I showed the cards that I was able to get to stamping ~ the guys are all at Piney Campground this weekend fishing and having fun.. and the girls are all here.. we are stamping, the girls are singing and playing dolls.. and we are enjoying our Sonic cold soft drinks.. couldn't be better.
Thanks for looking and reading ~ Pam
God Bless All Our Military ~ each and every one of them.
